Nowadays I generally just get up to eat the one time, usually at around 4 to 5 hours in when I naturally wake up when I start to get hungry. I generally start to chew in my dreams Lol Often thirst can wake me too.

In the early days on trenbolone before I started to drink Casein Hydro before bedtime I often use to wake 2 to 3 times but then it was just a real pain in the arse and getting a full nights deep, satisfying sleep was extremely tough.

Often what I eat depends on what I have in the fridge and that's ready to eat - such as chicken, beans, toast, enchiladas etc. Cheese is great for keeping the stomach acid at bay during sleep too. Then usually fruit juice and protein shake. Not the healthiest of choices but as long as its carbs and protein it keeps me happy lol What does everyone else like to eat here?

I don't like to go to bed on a full stomach, because the feeling of heaviness interferes with deep sleep. I usually eat lean chicken or fish or eggs at night and of course lots of vegetables. Vegetables can be fresh or steamed.

I eat anything when i wake up hungry. I wake sometimes 2-3 times to eat. Whatever left overs in fridge.

High protein yogurt.

I really don't care for most protein shakes. The only one I ever truly enjoyed drinking was muscle milk back in the day. Some are decent if I break out the blender and get the ice ratio right.

As an alternative, I buy a few dozen high protein yogurt cups. 20-25gr each. I eat 6-8 a day. It's perfect before bed if I'm hungry - just enough to take the edge off and an easy 60-100gr of protein.

These are very tasty food, very straight and really the feeling of hunger after them cleans up immediately. Before going to bed, it’s an ideal option, and there is no feeling of heaviness.

Sometimes if I wake up in the middle of the night to pee I’ll crush a protein shake or slam a carton of Costco egg whites (500g)... usually only if I slacked on my eating or missed a meal that day.
I'm usually too lazy to cook something at night to eat, Apparently I'm too lazy to eat at night

No, eating at night is straight up stupid and bad for your health and body comp goals in the long run. Go read up on circadian rhythm and chrnnonutrition.

Eat when you are awake, fast when you sleep.

Drink the egg whites don’t cook them... they are pasteurized
I remember when I use to do this back in my teenage years because I saw Arnie doing it!! I literally got the worst acne EVER all over my face, I got known as 'Pizza face' for it Lmao. It was way worse than anything I've ever got off running steroids.

I literally drank the whole egg - Yolks too!! Lol

I'm sorry but I have to laugh at the guys literally waking up in the middle of the night to eat. Do you get any satisfaction whatsoever? Why not just eat more during the day?

I eat most my food at night, but I IF and that's the only reason.

Honestly, more so when I'm on cycle. It's like my body demands more food. My stomach will hurt and prevent me from sleeping.
Tried casein, cottage cheese (with doritos), big bowls of broccoli. Still only sleep about 5 hrs and wake up starving w stomach pains

Of course!! You wake up because you are hungry and thirsty, when I feel like this I cannot fall back to sleep and the few times I have forced myself to I then get up 3 hours later feeling drained and full of stomach acid. Plus you are only 4 or 5 hours without food then so less muscle breakdown and catabolism. I have been bar far my strongest when eating during the night as opposed to not. I still cram myself with food during the day.

Maybe for you, not questioning that. But eating in the middle of the night will have little to no impact on muscle gain and retention for the majority of people. Eating sufficient protein and calories during the day works well.

I do not know. Nowhere have I seen scientific articles that eat at night and at night affect recomposition in a negative direction. Has the number of calories per day. And when you take and how much is a matter of comfort.
