How is it possible filtered QSC test-c is giving me pip only towards the bottom of the vial?

Filtered using .22 into pretty decent sterile vials. Only the last 3ml gives me massive pip. This happened before. I'm using a 23g to withdraw so I don't think I'm coring the stopper and injecting myself with rubber.

I understand QSC oils were dogshit, but this makes zero sense. It's happened to 3 other vials.

Perhaps the steroid powder is concentrated at the bottom? But it never crashed, even when I tried freezing it as a test to see if it would crash.

Are you using sterile PTFE syringe filters (individually packaged)? Im not sure about the last 3ml consistently causing pip, that is strange. Also, what vials are you filtering into? I think ghoul mentioned something about glass delamination with cheaper vials, not sure if that would cause it or not. I think QSC oils were actually pretty good compared to other chinese vendors because he didnt use EO

PTFE, yes. And decent ones from medlabsuppy.

I dont think med lab supply filters are sterile, they are not individually packaged. I think to use those you are supposed to push mct oil or something to clear out any contaminants. @Ghoul would know more about this

Ultra Spec 30ML Clear Sealed Sterile Glass Vials, Qty 1

I used a whatman .22 filter for this particular kit of test-c vials.

Your filters should look like this. If they are not individually packaged, they are not sterile

Bacteria probably doesn’t cause short term pip, at least not without redness, swelling, and heat indicating infection. It would likely take 24 hours or more (Can still hurt you but that’s another topic).

Oxidation, for those who don’t know, is “burning”. Fire is very fast oxidation. Rust is slow oxidation. For the most part, aging is the result of oxidation.

Peroxides are oil oxidation byproducts that are catalysts for more oxidation in your body. Essentially, the opposite of an anti-oxidant. They can cause fast local PIP without “infection symptoms”.

Pharma grade MCT is completely free of unsaturated fats. Saturated fat like “pure MCT” is very difficult to oxidize. It has to be “broken” first, by heat, light, long exposure to humidity. If it’s fresh, oxygen exposure alone won’t oxidize it for a long time.

The cheap shit “MCT” from China appears to be a blend of multiple vegetable oils, severely degraded MCT (long expired/recycled fryer oil), or god knows what else. Whatever it is, it’s full of unsaturated fats and susceptible to oxidation. What we’ve seen in GCMS of some Chinese oils, even if we don’t know exactly how much, are chemical byproducts that suggest the oil was severely oxidized long before it was even brewed. GCMS of other oils have no oxidation byproducts at all, just the compounds you’d expect from MCT.

Oxidation takes time and oxygen. Air is only 20% oxygen.

As time goes on, the crappy oil breaks down and becomes more and more “.hungry” for oxygen. It becomes more susceptible to oxidation.

There isn’t enough oxygen in the small headspace of a near full vial to support oxidation of all the oil.

When the vial is full, the cheap shit mystery “mixed oils” from China can only oxidize a small amount from the tiny amount of oxygen available in the headspace.

Each time you draw, the headspace gets bigger and “recharged” with fresh oxygen full air.

So the last part of the oil finally has sufficient “fuel” to fully oxidize, and the resulting peroxides are known to cause fast local reactions (and systemic inflammation).

Wtf. You think they actually use that crap in their gear? Wouldn't a GCMS be able to expose that?

absolutely people will talk about fear mongering but i personally had a drastic change in health since dropping any QSC gear, the oils have to be tested for toxicity / contaminants

I think the point is if the difference between Pharma grade MCT and trash that’s cut with other oils was 50¢ a gallon, knowing no one tests it, they’d keep the 50¢.

PIP from the bottom of the vial, even after filtering? That's sketch! Maybe try heating it up a bit, like TyLu17 said, see if those invisible crystals dissolve. If that doesn't work, sounds like you got some seriously bunk oil.
