How do you eat enough to grow??

I'm about half way through my first cycle with so-so results. I just added up protein, carbs, fat, and calories for what I eat on an average day. I thought I was eating alot, but I actually need to add about 2000 calories per day and about 150 grams of protein. That explains the so-so results. Can anyone who is eating right when on a cycle give me an example of what a typical days food intake might consist of? I'm trying to eat clean, not junk food. Thanks.
 
Eating high calories while staying with very clean foods is difficult. You will likely have to loosen up on your food choices a little bit.

Some foods that can help:
Milk
Natural peanut butter (not Jif, etc)
Cottage cheese
ground beef

(post workout)

Roast beef sandwich + 2 yams.

Huge ass Tuna Omelete with cheese / Big ass bowl of grits

Bunch of pizza but damn dominos didnt put enough chicken on it . so i dumped a whole can of tuna on it.

8:00
Salad with Fryed chicken strips(8)on it and herb toast

10:00
4 Chicken Breasts with oatmeal

12:00
RTD shake milk protein/ before bed

This is what ive ate today , fairly clean except for the pizza and fryed chicken


You miscalculated your diet on your cycle by 2000 cals? I bet you could of got better gains naturally with a solid eating plan.

Jezus Zeo, I thought I ate a lot! My problem is trying to eat clean and at high volume while working a 9-6 job. Also, I try not to eat anything after 8pm except a protein shake before bed. Late night snacks give me love handles even though I am very lean.

haha i work at a restraunt so i can diet perfect or bulk perfect , i love it.

I swear its all about diet, roids dont make a differance unless u got diet in check .

I did a cycle with my bud and i ate like a champ and he didnt . Well you know who got the gains and who didnt .

LOL, well I thought we all might be on the4 same sheet of music, 430am I eat 2 cups cereal, 1 bannana 2 cups oatmeal along with 2 cups milk, 530am one huge ham,roast beef sand with shake, 630 8oz chicken with 1/2 cup rice with gravy. 830 PBJ sand bannana and shake 1030 2 can tuna with 1/2 cup rice tuna has carrotts in it, 1145 shake 1230 one huge ham roast beef sand with cheese on it, 330 PBJ with shake work out during workout shake after 1 cup carrotts, 630 8 oz cheese burger potato and green beans 845 3 cups milk with shake, and I get up a couple times during night and drink a shake, or I finish left over dinner, now I rotate meals so I dont eat same every day. I eat big ass plate of pasta 4 times week, now I really hope that is enough food because I feel like a fat bastard after the day is done, I do have a high motabalism. I am starting to think my gear is under dosed, because at a gram week test I should have gained at least 5 lbs water that with deca at 400mg I was on 600mg deca but was getting ready to run out had to lower. you can also go to www.fitday.com its free and you can count cals that way
 
Do you have a job? Do you pack up all this food every day and take it to work with you? What's you body fat percentage?

I do work, like a fucking animal, it takes me about 2 hrs every night to pack my next meal for the next day, and thats with already pre making half of it, I make a huge pasta to last all week, I get like 5 big meals out of it, I also make up my tuna in a bowl for a week, I use about 6 cans with just a little mayo for flavor ,

well my BF% is about 14 but I dont care about that right now, i have the power to loose it, I just want to be huge then I cut down.
 
My current diet:

8:00 am - bagel w/ smoked salmon, light cream cheese, and black coffee

10:00 am - whey protein shake w/ two peanut butter sandwiches on whole grain toast

12:00 noon - tuna sandwich, cup of plain yougurt w/ fresh fruit, baked chips

2:00 - two protein bars, up of black coffee

4:00 - whey prtein shake ansd 2 cups of oatmeal

6:00 - workout

8:00 - dinner consiting of chicken breasts or steak w/ two cups some type of veggie and one cup brown rice

10:00 - bowl of cereal, usually basic four

drink nothing but lots of water throughout the day.

i concur with Zeo, if u aint eating, u aint growing.

1-2 gallons whole milk
2-3 dozen eggs
50-100 liver tabs

Add in beef, chicken, carbs, etc, and you will grow. And just to make sure I'm clear, this is per day.


i try to use more beef then chicken when bulking.
 
here is what i've found works good for me...

i buy some turkey breasts at superwalmart...they are $6, and you can get at least three meals per breast out of them. Then i buy the huge bags of frozen veggies.

Throw in the microwave for five minutes, and boom! instant high protein, low fat meal.

You can do the same with chicken breasts. Grill up a whole bag after you marinate them in low fat italian. put it in tupperware containers for each meal, portion out what you will eat.

Other than that, i'm not afraid to wolf down steaks, chicken, fish, and big bacon classics from wendy's (lol). On days where i'm running around like a madman away from home i'm not afraid to eat fast food since I need to get all my calories...and if they happen to have 30 grams of fat per crack, oh well at least i'm getting enough calories to grow instead of shrink.

Ok you guys are gonna laugh but how about 120 grams of protein for $1.50 ??? Can you say TUNA SHAKE ??? Really not so bad if your looking for lots of protein for the least cost per serving. Here it is: 3 cans of tuna/1.5 - 2 cups of orange juice. Open all the cans and press out the excess water then add one can to blender. Add 2 cups O.J then mix until liquid. After it is liquid and with the blender still running slowly add in the remaining 2 cans while increasing the blender speed to puree. Blend for about 60 seconds or until all tuna is in pureed form. Chill and enjoy. Yeah I really drink this stuff........ok go ahead and laugh now..........
