Nizoral shampoo as a body wash helps. Tanning bed is also good.

Stick to anti-biotics for killing the bacteria, but it wont matter. Accutane (when used in sufficient, doctor-prescribed dosages) stops almost all oil from the being secreted. The bacteria that causes acne requires oil to live, so no oil...then no bacteria.

antibiotics only inhibit protein synth in bacteria. I would not recommend accutane b/c of the sides. If u are prone to acne I would suggest tanning 2x week, an antibiotic like doxycycline or tetracycline, a prescription cream, and an otc body was and face scrub w/ salicylic acid. Also certain gear can cause acne more than others, and keep an injection schedule that is condusive to stable hormone levels.
I personally wouldn't combine AAS and Accutane. I used Accutane YEARS ago for my acne. This was way before I even considered steroid use. And even then my liver values were pretty screwy. It's a harsh ass drug. If you do use them both, I HIGHLY recommend getting regular blood work. Here is what seems to help myself and others: (1.) Tanning. I have found that the sun works much better than a tanning bed. But it's all we have in these cold months. Work yourself up to 3-4 20 min. sessions a week. (2.) Some people find that a medicated body wash is helpful. I use the Neutrogena acne wash. It seems to help a little. Wash the affected areas twice a day with warm water. (3.) Persa Gel, Differin, etc. You can apply any of these creams after skin cleansing. I personally don't get acne on my face from AAS use. It is mostly on my upper back and chest. So I find it to be messy and too much hassle to use these creams. But they do work well. Persa Gel is 10% Benzoyl Peroxide. And you can buy it over the counter anywhere. (4.) Keep your bed sheets and clothes clean. Helps to minimize bacteria and oils. (5.) Antibiotics like Minocycline seem to work well for some guys. Combing some or all of these methods should get you pretty well under control.

Benzyl peroxide works to a certain extent. Tanning will also. But for oil filled cysts and boils neithers going to do much good.
I've tried everything at one time or another and I hate to say it but accutane is the only thing that's ever worked for me. Taken in mild doses, say 20mg ed or eod is enough to keep acne at bay without encountering the harsh sides with higher doses.

accutane is some serious shit. I would rather have zits then do accutane again it gave me the worst sides ever nose bleeds dry cracking bleeding skin.......look into proactive it really helps alot and try to shower whenever you sweat.

I tried every kind of cream and crap, I tried tanning, I tried antibiotics.....they all worked ok, but not good enough. Accutane was awesome for me, I was on a low but effective dose and had almost no sides (some dry lips). It cleared me up really good.
It's Vitamin A you need to stay away from on Accutane. And it's also safe to take while on gear as long as you steer clear of the 17AA's like winny and d-bol. I know a moron that was on high dose accutane and 100mg of winny ed, his liver values went through the roof.
