Horror Movie Fans Here?

I’m very much into horror. Books & movies.

My movie recommendation this week: “The houses October built”

My book recommendation this week: “bighead” by Edward Lee

Bring Her Back was solid. Barbarian and The Dark and The Wicked are 2 more I’ve seen recently that I thought were good, even though they’re both a few years old now.

I'm huge on horror, just the slow-burn/unsettling kind. Think 'The Thing' or 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers', or, more recently, 'Hereditary'. All super fucking good horrors IMO.

Big horror and grindhouse fan myself. Hobo with a shotgun is one of my favs, Insidious too, omg so many... Weapons is on my list to watch next. It's nr1 now on IMDB to watch now, but not in all time.

I'd recommend to watch FROM. It's not a movie but it's one of the best horror series ever made, it's amazing! Really.

I enjoy horror although most newer horror movies piss me off due to lack of originality. My favorite classic horror movie is Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and my favorite that has come out in my lifetime is House of 1000 Corpses.

Agree. Don’t get me wrong I can still have fun with a cliche movie if it’s done right, but always knowing what’s around every corner gets old after a while. I think that’s what drew me further into psych horror/mind fuck movies. That said, when a good unique horror flick comes out it really shines in the genre due to the general ‘meh’-ness of it.

What are your favorite ones? Personally I really love folk horror like The Ritual, Midsommar, etc.

I always like the ones where you get to see titties.

Like:
"Blissfully unaware siren taking unreasonably long shower with her 2 friends while the masked murderer lurks thru her apartment"

Anyone have any of those to recommend?
