With all this business in the news about major chain supplements containing trace or no amounts of advertised ingredient, I'm wondering if anyone knows of any high quality suppliment providers. I'm willing to pay more to make sure I am taking vitamin d, fish oil, thistle, etc.

I'm so pissed about that ordeal, this isn't some back alley deal, they should be held to higher standards and penalized if it doesn meet their own labeling.

Hopefully such a suppliment company exists.

Same thing going on with protein, a lot of companies advertising twice as much as it contains. I guess gnc is the new eroids. As long as my chicken is still chicken I'm good though.

There are a number of high quality supplement companies. Thorne Research is top notch, so is LEF (Life Extension). Cheaper brands that I modestly trust are Jarrows and Swanson's house brand.

This is my only gripe with Thorne Research.

"We do not provide information about an ingredient's country of origin."

Ive started using 'piping rock', an online shop with really good prices. I save almost $10, maybe more on every bottle of calcium d glucarate. Been very happy with the vitamins, using their brand too. Wanted to share, as I usually get more than I give. Hope this gem saves someone else a few $$$. Bootsie
