Guys
Only using 5 units a day but get serious fluid retention lower legs. Thought it might dissipate after a while. Tried splitting dose didn't help. Appreciate advice on a possible solution.

Start at 1.5 or 2 IU/d. Assess and ramp slowly.

Carb intake?

Stats?

waist circumference to height ratio?

Cardio?

Fitness level?

Increase the injection volume per dose. It may help.

Like, instead of .2ml for 5iu, dilute it further to make it .4ml.

First, get off of the GH. Put a complete stop to using it. Lower your sodium intake.

How are your wrists like? Swollen? How do you feel throught the day? Do you feel too sleepy?

If the answers to the above is 'No', get your kidneys checked.

If the values are in the normal range, check your vial/pen/cartridge.

tried increments many times. tend to only run gh may-sept yrly
300g carb on 30iu lantus
5.11" 220lb 34W
walk 60 min day
jacked up

I started at 1.5 and ramped up to 5. Very low carb. Absolutely no lower leg edema. Was mixing at approx. 9 IU/ml.

I realize it is problematic to tell a weight trainer to cut carbs.

Good luck.

Either lower the dose or stick with the same amount and switch to EOD. It's clearly too much for your body to handle right now, your body needs time to acclimate.

When I started at 5 IU, I had major water retention and swollen ankles. My shoes didn't fit and I had severe edema. Now I'm running 20 IU and don’t feel any side effects at all.

wow. You think I just possibly need to up the dose. 20 iu holy cant imagine. That would be $20. a day just for gh for me at minimum. Wife no sense of humou\r for that. Love to know what you feel on that dosage. Fullness growth 3D must feel incredible.

That's definitely too concentrated for UGL

Standard / older pharma is around 12-15iu/1ml, and the higher concentration formulas use special excipient ingredients to make it work

Whether or not it ends up helping with your sides is another issue, but despite the small scale of the data behind it, it seems very reasonable that a high / fast GH spike from a highly concentrated dose can trigger sides more often than a low spike.

There are lots of other pharmaceuticals that have a "peak plasma level" relationship to sides vs the same dose delivered more slowly, avoiding a spike.

And if nothing else, that high of a concentration promotes faster degradation anyway, so better to avoid it.

really appreciate all the information Guys. This is what place like this is for ideally. Not for beating each other up.

Feeling wise? Honestly, not much just the occasional tingling in my fingers, but that's rare. I'm deep into prep right now, so I'm mainly using it as an expensive fat burner. There's no way I could handle this dose in the off season.

The fullness, though, is insane round and 3D. I'm also leaning more on peptides than high AAS doses, which I'm keeping low.

Please let us know what ultimately helps, so maybe it can help the next poor dude with this issue.

One other quick question since we're in troubleshooting mode here. Are you using BP meds? What are they if you are.

Daily carbs (g)?
% of carbs as daily kcal?

Best wishes on your prep.
Training days 150g
High day 600g
Off days 0 carbs
Protein fixed at 300g (direct macro's)

No insulin use, and glucose is under control overall, though fasted morning is elevated. It's probably due to sleep apnea, since postprandial levels are OK. Got some CGMs arriving (likely tomorrow), so I'll be keeping an even closer eye and having some fun experimenting during this rebound phase.

2 and half weeks to go!

You're going to love the CGM.

I just read this:

I can completely understand how longstanding lifestyle changes are made simply from seeing your body responses over two weeks. I've long avoided refined carbs whenever possible, but now I know it's not nearly as bad if I get some fiber first. OTOH I may never eat a single french fry again, lol.
