So specifically i have chondromalacia in my right knee. Its the cartilage underneath the knee cap is deteriorating. The doctor wants me to do pt, but i read that surgery isnt that good of an option.

I read a little bit into prolotherapy and stem cell injections. Also plasma injections.

Has anyone had any success using hgh to repair this problem or cartilage problems in general? I want to inject right into the knee but i dont know doses or if i should just do it sub q in my stomach and see if it heals the knee?

Any help would be appreciated. Reason i ask is because stem cell, plasma is upwards of 10k for treatment

I don't believe that hgh is the miracle drug that some seem to believe it is , if it could grow new cartilage I think it would be widely used in the medical field for treatment ,

I understand that but if u go for prolotherapy i believe thats hgh injections with stem cell. I've been doing reading but not a crazy amount of info. People spend 12k to get a series of injections and they dony need surgery. Kobe briant had it done a few others have.

I would guess that if the medical profession is not using it for cartilage or tendon repair it is probably just bro science that believes it will work .

read a paper or two by a Dr Dunn out in Miami. he's getting good results with intra articular growth hormone (IAGH) injections. haven't followed up on his research in a while but:

his research suggests these IAGH injections into the joint produce fenestrated capillaries which produce stem cells that form the fetal cartilage segments

The self administration of local intra-articular agents for CMP is quite unlikely to be of any benefit for several reasons.
1) the constant scraping of the patella against the femoral condyles greatly limits its effectiveness
2) a anti-surfactant substance is required
3) some sort of "stem cell" injection is also required
4) the involved extremity must remain relatively immobile or the newly developed and adherent cells will be scrapped off

5) FINALLY the primary reason BB should NEVER inject their joints is bc such foolishness can and has resulted (I've personally treated three such cases in BB) in JOINT INFECTIONS with the end result being a SEPTIC JOINT. If the latter was to occur you will rue the day you "injected your joint" bc of CMP fella.

6) CMP is considered an "overuse" injury that usually responds to improved biomechanics such as Vastus Medius strengthening and/or Vastus Lateralis stretching, the latter is best achieved thru the direction of a Physical therapist.

7) Surgery is the LAST OPTION bc the most effective procedure involves removal of the patella itself

So yea follow your docs advice and see a physical therapist fella, otherwise you're much more likely to cause more harm than good, IME.

You should most certainly avoid quad isolation exercises such as quad extensions or hack squats!

That's a HUGE fallacy that is frequently propagated on PED forums. How pro athletes are treated relative to the rest of us. Well rest assured there is not much difference with respect to WHAT DRUGS are being used or how they are being used. What is different is the INTENSITY of therapy, the varied modalities that are being used simultaneously and the doctors involved are often the BEST and most recognized in their field!

But know this, for a variety of reasons, the specifics of their therapy is NOT available for public scrutiny under any circumstance! So when people say that's what Adrian, Tyson or Kobe had done, the next question should be; "oh really and how do YOU KNOW THAT!
