HGH 40 +

Woke up at 5am. Tested at 506 am. It was 79?? Maybe I did just have a weird spike. Can anxiety cause that??
 
I have a question for you guys. So I have been running 2 iu am and 2 iu pm. I am in really good visible shape. 6ft. 195-205. Around 10percent I would say. I have been checking my “fasted” blood sugar. Ussually I wake up. Get a glass of water. Let the dog out. Then take it like that. I would say maybe 15 min after actually waking. It is ussually some where between 79-85. This morning I did something diff and it went as followed. I woke up and took it within like 2min of waking. It was 110!!! I retested in 5min. It was 101. Then I waited about 15 more min and it was 79. Is this a normal am spike?? Is this why I wake up with anxiety?? lol. I wake up with an alarm that slowly lights like the sun idk if that attributes. Basically it scared me, I never seen a number that high fasted. Nowhere near.
Take it immediately upon waking. Your body naturally has cortisol spikes after waking. I use a CGM and it's clear that morning timing can give you concerns that don't exist.
Also want to add that I track my sleep data and sub-optimal sleep also correlates to higher cortisol events which translates to higher glucose.

I’ll try that. Crazy how 10 or 15 min it can be so much lower. I’ll put it at my bed stand tomorrow. I doubt a lot of ppl check it literally as soon as they wake up lmao. Most probably do it 10 or 15 min after waking I would guess

Tbh, I feel like it does help but Im also on 250mg test e, 6mg reta, 10mg MOTS-C, and 10mg GLO weekly. So I cant really isolate which does which. Size is still decent. Wouldn't say I was jacked but it keeps my weight under control. Bloods are good. Workouts and recovery is fine.

Where do you get MOTS-C and GLO?

You're able to take 8 iu in the morning and not feel very drowsy?
 
I'm @ 2.5 IU Ed, and plan to increase in .5 increments every 6-8 weeks until I feel I have found my sweet spot.

I just received my Genetic cancer screening test which tests 70+ cancer genes. Results should be back in 4-5 weeks.
Being that C runs in my family, this is a very touchy subject.
If anything comes back positive, I am going to drop Hgh.
Since I have seen first hand the pain and heart ache C causes, I am not going to take any risks.

Yeah doesnt cause any drowsiness for me. All in the AM. Was taking it before sleep but I didnt notice any sleep improvement. The only side effect Ive really gotten was the first time I took 2ius. Water retention and a bit of CT. Lasted a week or so.

I've noticed that also - the CTS started when I initiated HRT dosage of HGH at 1.5 iu daily. Went away after several weeks and has not returned despite upward titration of dosage. I assume that when I come off (if i do) and re-start the CTS will return upon re-starting.

Yeah nothing too major. Ill keep tracking and seeing how I go

All of the historical data on fasting glucose was assessed way later; a couple hours after waking

I mean what we think is healthy (<100), prediabetic (100+), etc... those ranges came from people getting fasted bloods taken in a clinical setting

Soon we'll have big RCTs on people with CGMs to see differences between 'immediately upon waking' vs 10-15 minutes later on a population-level

There is def a difference in me. I ran out of strips this morning. But it looks like I’m pretty low in the a.m. this morning I checked after I ate two super beets chews which I forgot I ate about 30 or so minutes ago before checking. That spiked me above 100 just 10 grams of sugar/carbs. Obviously that’s not fasted. But yesterday morning I was 79 like 5min after waking. I need to just check at the same damn time every morning completely fasted and then I’ll really see what damage the gh is doing. My suspicion is nothing really as long as I’m below 4iu. Higher may be a diff story. I may do away with the morning dose just to stay more insulin sensitive, I only take it the morning for the calming effect on my mood. It helps me get actual physical results much better with 3-4iu dose before bed.
