Hard Injection

I was injecting my right quad with 1 cc of prop and had to press the plunger of the syringe just as hard as I do when I'm using a syringe filter for making my own gear. I've noticed this a few times with only my right quad. All other spots are fine. There isn't any sort of visible mark on my quad and it doesn't hurt either. It's just that I have to press the plunger with the palm of my hand to get the oil in. Any ideas why this is happening?

I have the same probs every now and then. Use a hot towel on the spot before you inject and well at least for me it goes in easily and injects smoothly.

scar tissue. make sure you rotate sites bro. especially when using gear like prop, tren, etc that require ED/EOD shots. it will still get absorbed but it's a biatch to get in. Good rule of thumb: dont shoot in the same muscle more than twice a week.

This probably isn't your prob but some syringes have sticky spots that the plunger has difficulty moving past,,,Its tedious but easily dealt with-more pressure,,,VDC

I know exactly what you mean, I love quad injects and sometimes the shit just wont go in. Ive had to pull out and move to another site, many time. thing is I know its not bc of scar tissue bc you can tell when you go though scar tissue by the color of the blood that comes out.

scar tissue does not change the color of your blood bro. blood is blood. do you have trouble pushing the needle in or keeping it in during the injection?

If it comes out green does it mean that I have finaly got to my goal and turned into the HULK???? :)

when i hit scar tissue the blood is always much darker, and green, wtf you have nothing better to do than sit around and post fucking garbage?

Uh dude, darker blood has nothing to do with scar tissue. That means that your blood is deoxygenated, nothing, I repeat nothing, to do with scar tissue~Sensational

WOW! Thanks for all the informative replies! I stretch my quad for a bit, then swab the area real well with alcohol and once the alcohol has dried, I put the syringe in. Only once did I have very little difficulty pushing the actual needle through the tissue... I actually have that problem more with my left glute, and I rarely do glute injections. Once the needle is in, it's difficult pushing the plunger do get the oil into the muscle. My syringes are B&D and I order the entire box directly from the pharmacy. I have tried other spots as well on my right quad and they don't give me the same problem. Could it be scar tissue? Does scar tissue ever go away?

ghost,

remember that you dont need a lot of injections to increase your risk of developing scar tissue. the BA in it does it quite quickly unfortunately. It does sound like you have scar tissue. a few things I might suggest:

1) if you're using 25gauge you might consider changing to a 23gauge pin.
2) use a smaller syringe....pushing gear out of a 30ml syringe is a lot harder than pushing gear out of a 3ml syringe.
3) dont poke the same site more than twice a week. rotate sites: left glute, right quad, right glute, left quad, shoulders, bi's, tris, repeat cycle.....or something to this effect.
4) dont work out the muscle group sooner than 3-4 hours after you inject. all that fascia and blood exacerbate the formation of scar tissue if put to heavy use.
5) massage for 2-3 mins after you pull the pin out to get the gear as evenly distributed as you can.

scar tissue rarely goes away, if at all. if it does, its damn slow from my personal experience. dont worry tho, your gear still gets absorbed nicely :)

hope this helps,
