Been doing a bunch of reading and listening to a lot of quality research, looking to find ways to optimize quality of life and gainz. Carnivore diet is in there cause I love steak and I’m going to do it for 3 weeks as an excuse to only eat meat for a little bit but beyond that I think it’s only solving one problem when it creates probably at least 5 other ones that are easily notable just in the way any extreme of restriction would whether it’s keto (yes there’s downsides) or vegan or any of the new knock offs of those that people treat like a religion rather then a science experiment for their body cause that’s what trying a diet should be. Nobody should be so locked into one method they won’t even see the merits of the others, well I’m trying almost all and have done almost all (won’t try vegan don’t care for it’s lifestyle and won’t waste 10 weeks of my time not having a steak cause life’s too short but if that’s your thing thankyou for contributing to the science where we can measure the deficiencies)
Now the big two things I’m interested in right now it’s correcting a lifetime of ruining my gut biom with antibiotics and shit quality foods. Not saying to stop takin antibiotics just I personally am at a spot now where I’m healthy and I generally deal with pain in a healthy matter so I don’t need any pain pills or meds prescribed by a doctor anymore so I want to help fix a problem I created and probably most of us have. Do some reading into the importance of your gut biom and how it can radically affect everything from mood&energy to in some very very very rare causes help fix/cure/decrease symptoms from specific diseases/conditions (only really cool one I’ve seen that’s worth noting is that children with autism that have their gut biom fixed generally make them less symptomatic and this includes helping down regulate mood swings assosicated, now don’t go around telling people with kids with autism to fix their gut cause you have no idea how hard it is every day just to get some of them to eat food let alone food they won’t like cause you gotta cut out all the foods they love generally to do this and that’s a fight you might not win the willpower of a child can break any man when it comes to being fussy lol.)
The second thing I’m interested in here is the anti inflammatory diet now this is where the carnivore diet comes in for me. I know 100% that I have no inflamitory reactions to meat (most people don’t some very few will but for most of us this is a good start point) from here after 3 weeks on I will be using meat as my control and slowing adding in other food items one by one for 3 days at a time before adding another. The goal of this is to find my maximum range of foods without an inflamitory response the only thing I want to bring inflammation on for my body is working out and stress if I can control my diet so that it remains anti inflamitory everyday my joints, back and muscles ache less and my mind is sharpened. I truly believe everyone should try finding their specific diet for this purpose as well it makes a big difference. Anti inflammatory diets do include keto and vegan as well and it’s actually a majority of the well being effect people feel while on those diets or at least is a visable marker that we can test that seems to corilate with every diet that lowers inflammation with people claiming a positive on well being (yes corilation doesn’t mean causation but in luo of me writing 25 scientific articles to back my stance that’s what you get, if you don’t like it do all the readings on the matter and come back and tell me why I’m wrong and I will happily change my perspective)
Now the only reason I bring this to me so is I want to see if any of you goons have tried out anything similar have any reccomendations for me or even just have a quality argument on why this is stupid and I can gain more perspective.
