Guns

Better than a 22lr haha. Nice weapon.

I just started talking with a supplier about getting parts to build my wife an AR15 for our anniversary. Going to chamber in 556 I think
+1 on the build. Going to get a few stripped flowers next week. That's the easy part. The rest of the components are difficult to find. Hit me up if you need some parts.

Springfields new launch. Msrp under 700. If I can find one locally, Merry Christmas to me. Springfield in their remake eliminated the magazine disconnect. Looking forward to this one.

Rem 700 SPS Tac. KRG Bravo Chassis , Vortex pst 6-24x50. Should be a Tac driver haven’t shot it with the new chassis yet
Just a tip. You may already do this, but reloading can squeeze a bunch of extra accuracy from a 700 action and factory barrel that manufactured ammunition (match grade) can't touch. Resize the neck only (not the rest of the case if it was fired in your chamber) and set the overall length so that the bullet touches the lands and the action is more difficult to close. SAAMI specifications on overall cartridge length are far too short for maximum accuracy. Maximum length touching the lands is maximum accuracy, although you might want to experiment with some different lengths to see for yourself in your rifle.

I haven’t got there yet but I am aware of some of science and what you’re saying. Currently the range I frequent only has a 300yd steel, they do have some 2-3 moa targets at that distance, but cheap ammo is good enough for that. I was hitting consistently 6-8” plates with my HBR 20” A4 clone and steel case. I want to start doing some 500+ shooting and the reloading game will probably come in handy at that time for me when I can get a decent reloading setup in my garage. For now the match ammo will have to due.

Finally got out to the range with the wife today. It's been wat too long. Anyhow we broke in her glock 43 we picked her up to replace her 26 for edc. That little sucker ran flawless. I've read mixed reviews on them but hers had no issues. I may pick one up for summer carry.

We also broke in our little 5.5 pdw. That little sucker ran great too. I've read how loud they are and how they're flame throwers. The flame thrower part is accurate but my 7.5 is louder then my pdw. I did realize We need to start getting back to hitting the range a couple times a month just to keep the muscle memory smooth.

Just got this tungsten finish Canik TP9 subcompact a week ago and it’s going to be my new carry gun. Never owned a Canik before now but I’m a fan! It’s accurate as hell and recoil is nothing compared to that Smith shield I was carrying. And in this day and age an 8 shot clip isn’t enough for me, had to roll with the subcompact gun that holds 15+1. Why? Half the shots you’ll possibly miss when your adrenaline is pumping and if there is more than 1 person you’re probably fucked!

Never even heard of that Turkish gun. It looks pretty neat.

I strongly encourage you to shoot one if you get the chance. I’m highly impressed by the performance and look of this gun, it’s becoming an up and coming Glock competitor and it’s more affordable. I paid 429$ plus tax for that gun and it destroys my Smith and Wesson

How's the trigger in comparison to a glock? I may rent one of those next time I'm at the range.
I will tell you the trigger on my Canik is amazing. It’s a fairly easy pull of abt 3.5lbs and the trigger wall is evident before the squeeze, the trigger on this gun was a huge selling point for a lot of gun enthusiasts. I honestly have not shot any of the newer gen Glocks so I probably can’t answer this as accurately as someone else could.

Now, I will tell you this much; for the price and what the gun comes with in the case you just can’t go wrong! I got a 12 round clip, a 15 round clip, a holster that can be owb or turned around for iwb(nothing spectacular but it’s included, my alien gear cloak owb holster is on the way, alien gear holsters are amazing) extra night sights, straight base plate for the 12 round clip if you prefer the look, a spare back strap for the handle, cleaning kit, tool kit, gun comes stock with removable slide sight piece for aftermarket optic installation. I’ve put 150 rounds through it so far and to say I’m pleased as hell is an understatement on this Canik. At 15 yards I sunk the entire clip of bullets into the face of a silhouette target!

I attached a few more pics to show the removable piece on the top of the gun for optics, the nice touch where the handle texture continues onto the clip, and overall general size in my hand (I have very large hands)

Here’s a fun little gun I “bought for my wife to carry”, it’s a Taurus 942, 22 mag. She named it Lil’ Peep. Sometimes if I wanna pocket carry or just need something to grab to have on me I’ll rock Lil Peep. Lil Peep put yo’ ass to sleep fool!!!
