Guns

Ive had a Taurus PT 145 which is identicle to the one pictured below. Ready to see first hand the power from a 10mm. Ill mostlikely get a Glock29. I bet that subcompact will pack one hell of a punch hahah. Im going to use it for personal defense. Ive been researching alot about the 10mm. They even use it in the woods just incase black bears are around. They say one of those 10mm rounds will go through 3solid feet of muscle smh....Absolutely amazing lolmp06.jpg

10mm will kick like a mule, but you only need 1 shot provided that you don't miss. I don't know, but I figure 10mm rounds are not cheap.

10mm in an AR-15 would be FUN.

Not guns , but one of my favorite toys 2 NODs on a dual mount Gen III. I can use one a time which leaves a eye adjusted to night.

Back to guns. This is my favorite trigger. It's made by mega arms and is so sexy and adjusted. I set it to 4lbs w/ little over travel and literally no slack

a 10 mm is a powerful gun but you might as well use a single shot the recoil will make sure you hit nothing after that , I would rather hit someone 5 times with a 380.

I agree, but just don't miss lol.

Dump 1/2 magazine with .22lr as literally no recoil so you can stay on target.

One of my favorites handgun to shoot. Eat safe with suppressor. M&P 22 with a cleaner stippling job lo and I painted the logo red

I have 2 10mm. A Delta Elite and a G29. I love the delta, fun to shoot, accurate, has given me no issues. G29 is awesome too but it is not really "a pleasure" like the delta. Same goes for any subcompact though really. I hope if you're looking to dive into the world of 10mm that you already handload or are looking into it. Pretty much required with that round or you'll either buy watered down (think 40s&w) loads or end up paying a pretty penny for true 10mm loads from "boutique" ammo makers... That's no way to get proficient at this round that you intend to use for self defense

And it's not really "single shot" lol. At least not if you practice with your gun and know what you're doing. You can also load it to whatever levels you like

I did a handgun class that taught you competitive shooting and it was the first time that I ever shot on the move. Had a blast...didn't know I can have that much fun with my clothes on lol. Any ways what I learned the most is that before that class I would've been good for nothing if I ever had to draw from holster and hit my target in a stressed situation. For example, the shot timer would go off, I'd quickly draw, but 99% my hand position would be off causing a mis shot or I'd draw and couldn't get pistol out of holster. Prior to this, I had to problems drawing, but completely different story under stress.

My favorite class involved gearing up...chest rig, body armor, primary (rifle) and secondary (pistol) and backup pistol and hand to hand with blade. It was a 3 day class at an indoor range.

Next I want to take shooting night vision class, but I'd have to fly to different state as non available for civilians that I know if in my state.

Speaking of loads, I used to screw a small screw on .22lr HP. This was my version of poor mans subsonic. Super quite with suppressor. Worked like a charm, but I don't stopped doing it because not too safe.

My .40 XDM. Just wasn't digging the black.

That looks awesome man. Nice choice on the upgrade!!! Its like Night an Day compared to what it used to look like!!!!

Thanks bud. I did it myself. I was really worried doing it that I was screwing it up but I'm satisfied with the out come. I will probably be polishing all my barrels from now on. Well with income tax I'm getting a kimber and I would be crazy to touch that.

Bro? why you buying a kimber? Don't get me wrong I love them but there is so much better options out there for the money...Para Makes a badass 1911 frame for half the money.. Or even Springfield .. with the money you would save on springfield you could upgrade the spring, barrel and trigger if you wanted... Nice job on the XD by the way...

Sorry man but para ordinance is crap compared to Kimber..

I agree .. im just giving examples... kimber is an outstanding option but I guess my problem is from a resale standpoint... I buy sell and trade guns all the time and its pretty easy to trade up say a glock 26 or 27 for a springfield xdm sub compact... or a keltec for a ruger... but man you pay 1400 or more for a kimber custom or gold match or whatever model your in to and try to trade that shit up.. no one wants to come close... it just seems to me that for some reason kimber is hard to deal with if your interested in trading or selling at any point.. ofcourse this is all pointless if you plan on keeping it forever...

I've got a kimber cdp with a 3" barrel, great carry gun. Used to have a Les baer srp, that's the nicest/ solid 1911 I've ever handled. Had to sell it, that was a shitty day.
Les Baer 1911s are top of the line in my opinion.. but god dam they are so pretty you almost feel bad getting them dirty...lol.... If you don't mind me asking did you come close to getting what you paid for it when you sold it...
