Hello all. This is my introduction. I'll try to make it as brief as possible.

I've been a very long time lurker on this site. A long time ago, with a lot of help from information I learned here, I went from skinny-fat 170-ish and 20% bf to 190 at 11%. I'm naturally a small guy, 5'9" and small frame.

Fast forward several decades to now, and I'm 165 lbs with zero muscle and completely out of shape. I had a cervical fusion over a decade ago, and now every disk in my cervical spine is herniated. 6 months ago there were days when I hurt too bad to get out of bed. I was going to end it, had the plan and everything. Decided to give it one year and try anything to fix myself.

I started going to pain management, now I get a rotation of cervical epidurals, lumbar epidural, and botox for muscle spasms in my neck. 2 months ago I started in-home physical therapy. Like doing exercises laying in bed. That got me in enough shape to start out-patient physical therapy twice a week.

Between the shots and physical therapy I'm doing better than I could have hoped. I'm mobile, started working again, and my mental health is improving.

I was put on TRT about a year ago. My test levels were shot from decades of opiates. Due to the injuries that caused all this, decades ago I was on more opiates than any Dr would even think of prescribing now. That was back when they gave them out like candy. Today all I take is a small dose of buprenorphine daily for pain.

My goal is to get back into the gym and push some weight. Through diet, exercise, and chemistry I will get there.

If you read all of that, thank you.
