Hey all. Been lurking for a little while trying to learn what I can.

Started TRT along with tirz about 5 months ago trying to get my health back in order after letting myself get into the worst shape of my life.

Started out 6’2 318 pounds and down to about 280 pounds now. Still have quite a bit to lose, but hoping to get there over the next several months and hopefully put on some muscle along the way.

Just turned 48 not too long ago and hoping by the time I hit 50 I can be in as good or better shape than my 20s.

Good luck in your journey. Lots of info in here for all aspects to help you. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. You can use the search box to find almost anything. Some will be more responsive and helpful than others to your questions. Also a warning. Most of us are pretty blunt so don’t taje it offensive just the tren demons talking

Through a clinic or on your own?

Tell us about your bloodwork
Through an online clinic, but considering going on my own later.

I was around 360 total and 6.3 free prior to starting 60 mg 2xweek. At my 3 month labs I was up to 688 total and 12.6 free. Also taking .125 adex 24 hours after each injection keeping my e2 at 26 and feeling pretty good.

Hoping as I drop some more bf that I can ditch the adex.

Ordered my own bloodwork through privatemd the other week just to check if anything had changed since my 3 month labs. Still waiting on results.

In my 3 month labs lipids were all in range, prior to dialing in my diet and starting tirz and trt they weren’t perfect but close to range.

Never had any cardiac imaging done. Did wear one of those monitor devices for 24 hours and had an ekg a couple years ago when I was having some palpitations. Everything looked good on those. Ended up cutting sugar, reducing caffeine, and working on sleep that all seemed to help. Haven’t had any issues since.

Maybe look at how to get a calcium score test in your area. Most large health networks and hospitals offer it as a preventative care option. You don't need a referral from a Dr. In my area they are $49.
Thanks for recommending the CAC test. Just had one done today and unfortunately a little freaked out after getting the results.

Circumflex 24
RCA 108

Total 219

I didn’t think my latest lipids were bad, but now definitely think I need a statin to get them to a better level

Fak dude I’m glad you were able to get that done

At 48 years old those numbers probably put you in the 99th percentile.

M also 48. My score was 46 and Dr told me I was 90th percentile.

Follow up with a cardiologist and get additional testing.

The calcium score only picks up plaques that have already calcified. No telling if / what other plaques you have that haven’t calcified yet.

Push for an mri and a ct angiogram. They will probably start with an echo but ask for more if they do t already suggest it.
