Great deal on Libre 3 plus CGMs

Check if it's a gradual decrease or a sharp drop. Best is you are able to verify with a skin prick when you wake.

Sharps drops are usually compression lows (e.g putting pressure on your arm when u sleep). Depending on where i put my cgm, i get more hypo alarms when i sleep (and throughout the day)
Everything checked out when i did a skin prik test in the am , and they were kinda gradual drops it looks like, i like the "libre link" app compared to the stock libre3 app ?

I'm 0 for 3 now on the Libre 3 plus. First one fell off. Second one started reading really low, as checked against finger prick tests. I was getting really worried about hypoglycemia until I did the finger pricks. Third one (which Abbott sent as a replacement for the first) came up "sensor ended".

Now I'll wait for replacements and will definitely be confirming the numbers before I take action.

i have been having very good luck with this libre3 , its been a very effective tool to help me really lock in diet and bg levels, i fixed my nocturnal hypo events, , i was having 4-5 events, dropping into the low 50's a couple times, but i have since adjusted bedtime snack to keep bg levels smooth throughout the night, All in all no problems,,

Does anyone get bad scaring from these?
Each CGM leaves behind a black needle like mark which doesn't fade even after 2 months+..I'm putting trazodone but it doesn't seem to help

Wow no (but you had me checking). Which model are you using?

no i didn't think to look , i put mine on backarm so next time ill pay attention, come to think about it , the needle fiber thing that goes in your skin is kinda grayish/black looking, i did examine that real close before i put it on it is weird to me

i did have to replace the sensor 6 days before it expired, they sent a new replacement, so easy process, i kept "losing signal" for hours at a time,

I had to stop using mine. Constant low blood sugar alarms that were not confirmed with a finger prick test. You can't permanently turn them off so the experiment wasn't worth the sleep interruptions.

that’s strange on the Libre 3. i’ve been using the LinX, which is basically a Libre 3 clone and i can turn off that damn alert. shit would wake me up early mornings until I got into the settings.

A tip for those applying sensors, shave the area of placement and wipe a couple alcohol swabs before injecting the sensor. FYI: the libre 3 uses a needle on placement and pulls it out while replacing it with a black fiber that stays just below the skin in your body fluids, since its not directly in contact with your blood the readings you’re getting are 15min behind actual measurements.

what about the Libre 3 Plus? The only problem i had was a bad sensor i kept "losing signal" so they replaced the sensor, so i got like 9 ish days outta one sensor,
