Good sources of fat that are not nuts

I think I have an allergy to nuts and struggle to find alternative fat sources.

All I need is about 60g of fat per day.

Any ideas?

I'd like to just mix in oils to my shakes to make it quick and easy but gotta watch the omega ratios with stuff like olive oil.

Pretty much anything will do really, there are countless foods that will give you enough fat without even really trying.

But since you asked for specific examples -

Red meat, whole eggs, peanut butter, and if you don't have any problems with lactose, whole milk are all excellent staples.

I don't know too much about nut allergies, do seeds cause reactions?
If not there is flax oil, hemp seed oil is tasty. Some
Stores have an array of different oils you can get your fats from like avocado oil.
I imagine my personal favourite, coconut oil, is out of the question.

I know I'm allergic to milk so I need to avoid that but I have a suspicion I'm way more allergic to nuts.

Since eating wallnuts I've had chronic asthma. Could be co-incidence but want to stay clear of them.

I've heard Flax seed isnt very good for men.

Another vote for fish oil. Awesome for keeping you lean, its relatively cheap, and its super convenient to take with your other daily vitamins. Egg yolks and whole milk is also good, in careful moderation of course (just like everything else).

Avocados would suit perfectly.

But I remember reading somewhere that the fat in avacados can't be utilised by the body for some strange reason.

Is this true or false?

It was google that told me avacados can and can't be used by the body depending on what site you're on.

If you know the answer why not just help a brother out.

I've never read anything that says they can't be utilized. Everything I've ever read on them says they're nothing but great for you in every area. I googled your question & saw nothing like that, but I only glanced through a few articles. Sorry man but I can't give you a definitive answer.
