Both in vitro and in vivostudies demonstrate that gliadin and WGA can both increase intestinal permeability and activate the immune system."
The Dietary Intake of Wheat and other Cereal Grains and Their Role in Inflammation
In the present review, we describe how the daily consumption of wheat products and other related cereal grains could contribute to the manifestation of chronic inflammation and autoimmune diseases.
(note the word COULD)
and of course:
Until now, human epidemiological and intervention studies investigating the health effects of whole grain intake were confounded by other dietary and lifestyle factors and, therefore, well-designed intervention studies investigating the effects of cereal grains and their individual components on intestinal permeability and inflammation are warranted.
Eliminating foods that doesn't agree with you can as well put your mind at ease because you think you are doing something good for yourself, so it might alleviate your anxiety symptoms, etc.
It's not that cut and dry as some people think.
You do something, positive change appear in some time - this doesn't mean it's because you lets say went to low carb or no gluten or meat free,
there are so many more factors to be accounted for.
But yeah nobody gives a shit.
Many times just by choosing to do something and proceeding with it will help you a little bit.
But that doesn't mean that actual shit you did ( like low carb, no gluten, etc) helped you and it works for everybody and that it was your culprit.
