Glycerol for humans (for DNP)

Glycerol (glycerin, or glycerine) is not a steroid, but it is often recommended for use in a DNP cycle, which is frequently discussed in this forum.

Does the above source for glycerol, which is marketed for horses, seem like it is suitable for human consumption? If anyone knows of any other sources for this product that they can recommend from anecdotal knowledge or personal experience, please let me know. Thank you.
 
you can buy it at any pharmacy off the shelf , it is in the burn treatment section usually , also it is in most protein bars
 
Thanks for the responses. I must have some stupid pharmacists in my area because I called CVS and Walgreens and neither knew what glycerol was. Maybe I should have said glycerin, but search results on those pharmacies websites have skin and hair products listed for glycerin, which I would feel uncomfortable ingesting unless I was sure it was OK. There is a specialty pharmacy in my area, which is open M-F. I guess I'll call 'em in the morning.
