Giant Semaglutide Thread (and other GLP-1 / GIP agonists)

I am currently on pharma grade ozempic and I used my final dose which I slowly went up until 1 mg. I experienced some side effects but nothing really to write home about.

My main question is if I were to hop on reta. Do I gotta start from the bottom all the way up again? Or since I have been on ozempic for while, if I hop on 1mg of reta off the bat will it be too crazy of a jump? Is it really that much more potent?

It’s not more potent at all for most people.

Why don’t you stick with Pharma? Ozempic goes to 2.4mg, you’re only at 1mg.

Is one of the world’s most effective weight loss compound’s not working fast enough for you? Trying to see if you can fuck things up by jumping to another compound for no good reason?

Because my pens were left over from my father passing away. He was prescribed them and when he passed from cancer I started using them. I don't have a personally prescription or insurance that covers it. So I was thinking of switching it diddy blud

Since you have switch to UGL, for weight loss, in my opinion, you’ll be better off going with Tirzepatide. The cost, especially for long term maintenance, will be much lower, and it’s an upgrade over Sema.

Coming from 1mg Sema, you can start Tirz at 7.5mg, as long as you haven’t missed more than 2 doses (so 3 weeks since last dose) before switching.

Understood. Thank you sir

Interesting thread! I've been curious about people's experiences with different forms of Semaglutide too. I've heard mixed things about the side effects, so real-world experiences are super helpful.

What would happen if I reconstitute Cagrilintide without Acetic acid? it's being shipped to me but I was supposed to start tommorrow and I really don't want to wait another week. could I just reconstitute and then add acetic acid when it arrives or would it degrade right away?

When I used it in the past I used normal Bac water, it worked just fine

oh alright. I had people tell to not even dare to reconstitute it because it needs to be at a low ph, so I was worried.
Would you say it will degrade in 6-8 weeks in the fridge? I have 10mg vials, I'll start with 1mg and probably will go to 2mg quickly, but the firat vial will probably last 2 months

I don't know, I had to stop it after 4 weeks as it was too strong with reta. I was on 0.5mg/week so I had to throw it away a couple weeks later as I started to bulk.

I was taking Mounjaro from Feb untill August when the price rises hit. I started on 2.5mg and tritated up to 12.5. I had some quite bad sides on 5mg but nothing at 7.5 and above. It seemed to wear off quite quick for me but lost 60lbs in total.
Moved on to Reta now. 2 months at 2.5mg and this week was my first 4mg. Not as strong as MJ but ive started weight lifting 5 days a week now where as I done no exercise on MJ.

i tried it once. still have 8/10 of a kit tucked away somewhere. with just bac water it gell’d up after about a week. i forget the mgs in the vial, but enough where it would have taken me 2-3 weeks to finish it. there was no chance since after 6 days it was a thick mess that i couldn’t pin.

I didn’t like it to begin with, but i did see measurements online for the AA fix.

Anyone might know why more than 10mg Tirz seems to not result in any more effect for me? I have tried 12.5 and 15mg with no difference at all from 10mg.
all from the same vials
I was similar, 7.5mg to 12.5mg barely felt any different. This was pharmacy not UGL. Moved on to reta now on much lower dose but also not feeling much. luckily I'm in the zone so not negatively affecting me. Think resistance builds up over time? I'm going to have a 2-3 week break over Xmas.

I think I'll risk it. Really can't wait another week. I'll reconstitute it tomorrow and when the acetic acid arrives I'll add it to the vial

How many weeks did you run the 15mg Tirzepatide dose? :0 Also, how long do you use a bottle of bac water before opening a fresh one?
