Ok that's helpful. Is this related to why people have increased RHR on Reta? The idea is of metabolism can be prevented from slowing as much as it would on a regular diet, you'll burn more calories just existing, which contributes to faster weight loss (and more energy than if metabolism was slowed more).
Reta was designed as an attempt to speed up metabolism and provide more weight loss faster than older GLPs.
I'm sure you've heard of people commenting on someone being thin due to a fast metabolism.

You think weekly dosing is best? Seems like you get a high peak and then it wears off towards the end of the week.No. That's because when GLP-1 receptors on the vagus nerve are agonized, it partially blocks the feedback signals that normally slow heart rate down. Usually the system adjusts to this over time so for most using the pharma protocols (stable doses, once a week, for long periods of time) it's a temporary problem.

Sure but pharmaceutical companies also have to consider what a common lazy patient will actually do. ie pin multiple times a week less likely to be compliant.Do you think that following what was done in pharmaceutical trials that was done over years and proven to be both safe and effective over a large sample size, monitored by people more educated and smarter than me, is best?
Yes, I do think so and that's what I'm doing, abit higher dose then what was used but still.
(I also don't want to pin more than once lol)
thinking "more stable is better" is dumb bodybuilder thinking of applying hormone logic to everythingSure but pharmaceutical companies also have to consider what a common lazy patient will actually do. ie pin multiple times a week less likely to be compliant.
I see a lot of people on Reddit stacking tirz and reta.Just for curiosity, why does nobody stack Tirz + Reta? I see people do Tirz + Sema, Reta + Sema, Tirz + Cagri, Reta + Cagri, Sema + Cagri, and various combinations with Mazdutide and Survotrutide. Why never Tirz + Reta? too much GIP agonism?
Reta is so strong in the GIP department already, I don’t see why anyone would do that.Just for curiosity, why does nobody stack Tirz + Reta? Im swapping from sema to triz. Im currently taking 2.5mg of sema every week should i start off the tirzepatide on the lowest does of 2.5mg or can i start higher?
Nope not me, I'm down to 485!thinking "more stable is better" is dumb bodybuilder thinking of applying hormone logic to everything
also, if you are less hungry right after a shot and more hungry near the end of the week, that can help you cycle carbs or have refeeds, keeping your metabolism up.
but who knows seems like we have a huge influx of 500lb people who dont lift in here
I usually feel it the next day or two. Probably appetite will be affected tomorrow. Be patient don't take more you'll regret it.Just shot my first tirz shot, 2.5mg at 3PM. It's now 8PM.
For those who felt already in the first shot, how long after the shot did you feel something? And what was it exactly?
Trying to be prepared for it if it comes.
Has anyone came off tirz/sema and had a large appetite increase and regained? Thats how it works right?
I ask because I gave some to a buddy and hes been a dick lately so hoping he blows back up after he goes through his vials.
Yep. Patience is key while it builds up.I usually feel it the next day or two. Probably appetite will be affected tomorrow. Be patient don't take more you'll regret it.
