Hey guys,
I'm interested in homebrewing, seems like an exciting topic. I have some questions, though.
1) I've read you take a 0.45 whatman filter for bigger molecules, 0.22 to filter out the rest of bacterias. Can one add both filtrations for all raws so it's as sterile as possible?
2) Some say one should take 18/25G needles for the brewing while bass says 18/20G. Is there any rule? Why choose those? The bigger ones for thicker oils, right?
3) How do one know the exact amount of BA and BB? Bass recommends not to add BB with long esters and add BB for short esters to stabilise them. Is there any rule? One should not exceed 5% BA, will hurt, right? Can one actually add just as many BB as one wishes to the solution to thin it out?
4) Is somewhere written down how many grams of raw equals it in ml? As a rule of thumb I see often 1g=0.75-0.85ml. Can one calculate with 1g=1.5ml to slightly overdose the solution? Or is there another way to overdose it instead of calculating the raws higher to have less oil?
5) How many ml should one brew at the first attempt? (Tren A, Test P, Mast, EQ, Var)
Tren A 100mg/ml @10ml, Test P the same, Mast the same, EQ 250mg/ml @5ml, Var 25mg/ml @10ml, is that good?
6) How do one know what the max. brewed concentration is for raws?
7) Do you bake it at 200 degree for 15 min as Bass does at the end? Is this for sterilising?
Maybe adding more questions.
Thanks in advance.
