Again, an example of the law at work. At one time, polygamy was the norm. As to why we have come to despise it, I can't comment with certainty. I suspect the evil influence of the Church, but that's just me.

My point is, at some point, the mass of people decided that it should be ONE man and ONE woman who could be considered married. They out voted, out powered, out whichever method, those of the polygamist persuasion.

The result is now marriage being considered one man and one woman. The push for gay marriage would only be another metamorphosis in the changing landscape of the law.

I got another question regarding health insurance. As an employer, I provide health insurance to my employees and their immediate family if they choose to accept it. Now, I pay premiums based on the number of people on the plan.

The fact that homosexuals are at a MUCH higher rate to contract AIDS...would that infect health insurance rates??? 60% of all cases of AIDS in males is contracted via homosexual intercourse.

Would a gay couple automatically be placed in a "high risk" category for insurance??
