First cycle thoughts

New here and new to the game willing to take any advice or criticism. Started on trt a few years ago 180 mg a week basically titrated up on my own so ran test only up to 300 mg a week at that time no side effects. Wanted to kick things up a notch. At that dose was lean 6’0 190 44 years old training for 30 years, consistently for the last 10 definitely. So like a month ago I upped the test to 400 and added 200 primo. Feel good no issues no sides. So upped it again to 450 test 300 primo. Still feel
Good no sides except elevated resting heart rate. Getting bloodwork done end of the month. If all checks out should increase these doses again until the end of the year or just ride out what I’m on. Also have some tren a I bought which I want to try in a small dose like 25 mg a week just to see how I react but if people more experienced and smarter than me think I should wait on that then cool. Just looking for some input from people who been in the game. Willing to be kind of a guinea pig so as long as I don’t die or stroke out I’ll try whatever lol. Thanks all

Not someone who’s been in the game for long… but I added tren to my first cycle during the second half. I regretted it. I wish I had just done what I’d read on forums like these- test only and increased every 2-4 weeks until side effects/e2 cause problems. Then add a second compound. What I’m doing now. I’m tolerating 750mg test with only increased hair shedding (started dutasteride 0.5mg daily) and elevated bp (on telmisartan 20mg daily and cialis 10mg). Getting great gains and size this bulk without night sweats or anger issues…

I guess why would you add more if what you're already doing is working? I get everyone gets that itch to ramp the drugs up and think they are going to blast up to 250lbs and be solid muscle. But most people just end up with a shit ton of issues and have a shitty or a mediocre physique they could of easily got without the extra drugs. I tried tren once for 2 months and fucking hated it. There was no benefits for me. But feel free to learn by trial and error. That's how most of us figure it out.

What is the specific thing that makes you think a lack of more drugs is the only thing missing from your training

Good question I don’t know man. Training and nutrition always on point. Only thing missing currently is a small hiccup from a shoulder tweak so can’t push the pushing movements probably for another two weeks. I should probably stay the course I’m in no rush really I don’t compete or anything. Probably normal for people to always want to push more when maybe not necessary.

I’ve tracked my training and nutrition for over 10 straight years got old notebooks before I started using the phone but everything towards my goals somewhere around a gram of protein per pound calories at whatever phase I am in training is whatever split I feel like usually upper lower or ppl moderate volume I am currently 44 can’t go too high or the joints and recovery will suffer. Eat mostly meat fruits and veggies i tend to go lower fat works better for me than high fat but I have some almond butter daily unless im having a higher fat meat for dinner. Always try and progress either in weights or reps. That’s on point for me the best I can working full time w a toddler. The lifting ends up being like 4 days a week and cardio on the other days two liss one hitt session
