So im not expecting alot out of the new cd so im damn sure not gona pay 15$ for it.

Hey Vegas here is a story about the first time i heard Roy Buchanon i was working as a DJ at a local radio station and i fount Roy's live album "mind you this was just when cd's were starting to be made" anyway i play the first song off the album and my jaw drops and im in a total state of aw. I mean i never in my wildest dreams had any idea he woulda been that damn good. So i take a station id break and do the comercial thing and say to myself fuck the format i gota hear this whole album NOW. so i let her rip and took all reqest lines off the hook and locked the door to the D.J. booth and let the whole album play over the airwaves and cranked the speakers to soak it in better. Well i almost got fired from the job and if not from fan suport at that time id been canned but i kept the job and made a copy of the album and took it home.

Now ive always heard the rummor that Roy hung himself in a Virginia jail with guitar strings tied together "ounch" while others say it was murder im kinda in the dark about that but he is way under rated and went way ahead of his time and one of these days he will have the fame he deserves but till then kinda seems like only a few of us know who he was.

Bro i never had any idea they were this many musicians on the board and that makes it that much better.

I swear 2 god a good guitar is like looking at a fine women and no 2 act or play alike.

If my guitar had a built in pocket pussy in the back of it id put roller skates under my g/f's ass.

Music Manly men

Again sorry to rant on about bass players, but I see you guys get my point.
Anyway, it's great to hear there are so many musicians on this board, for you bass players, I have a USA Spector, made by Stuart himself, a old 5 string Warwick, and a brand new Modulus Quantum 5.Ha HA HA LOL. My Spector is my prize bass. You would have to kill me to get it out of my cold dead fingers!!!!
So lets keep some kind of music thread going. I know this is an anabolic board, but what could be more anabolic than kickin some hard core Rock!!!!!!
( yes I'm a little older but I still love the hard shit, maybe some old school, like Black Sab.,Iron, or even newer like RAGE!! Ilove that shit, I could just Kill a man!!

Man whats better than hard rock and Test. (no wonder my fellow musicians think I'm a little nuts, and I still can't spell for shit, You wouldn't believe the words I gotta ask my girl friend |o spell!) Must be all the Lowd music!!
Talk to you later, my R&R Brothers!!
That Old Rockin Graybass

my list looks a lot like peace divisions' with more southern rock influence. all time stuff:

floyd has got to be at the top of the list Glimour & Waters, especially the early Sid Barrett stuff. zep, skynard, allman's.

then there's the newer shit, i'm into all the seattle shit. Layne Staley ranks up there all time, alice kicked ass.

newer stuff

incubus
Audioslave
Chevelle
Taproot

By the way, Moe. is my favorite live band touring right now! Their live shows are full tilt boogie! So much fun. I would be at the Fox show in a second, but I have a sales meeting. I'll see 'em at Langerado down in Ft. Lauderdale. I'm using a "business trip" excuse so I will get to travel/hotel for free :)
