Fat loss

Goddam I don’t get hungry at all after a couple of meals, I’m on a cut and I’m actually struggling to hit minimum calories, shall I force feed a bit ? Or let it be, I’m currently walking around an average of 15k steps everyday plus training 5 days a week, calorie intake is about 1500 or so and deffo burning at around 2500. Protein at 160, carbs 100 sometimes less and fat about 40 to 50, I also cycle carbs

I don't think you should force feed on a cut really... It'll probably stabilize. You can't be in a 1000 calorie deficit for too long before hunger sets in.

That’s what the theory says, it is very little calories I know, but I feel good and I’m getting plenty of protein as well

Doesn’t matter, at some point you’ll stall, then where do you go, 1200,1000? Unhealthy and unsustainable. Find your maintenance set point, eat 20% below it to start.

Eat more. That's way to little food. That's what a small woman eats.

Either you're miscalculating your intake or thst starvation hasn't set in yet

I do weight all my food and I’m very careful to what I eat, I’m not a big guy, my calorie maintenance is 2.200, so if I’m eating 1300 or 1500 is not that bad, the thing is the cardio I do because I love it not because I have to, I love long walks and that’s what puts me in a deep deficit, but like I said before I feel great and don’t get very hungry, and if I hit a plateau and stop losing fat then I’ll do a couple of days refeeding and then go back on a deficit

Ok, so, you’re going to do what you want, it seems. Makes sense that you came here asking for help, though. Good luck.

I’m all open for suggestions, but not the bro kind, saying that eat more bro ! Don’t make sense as I said that I’m not hungry at all

And force feeding to hit calories isn't? That's absurd.
If he’s eating less than a bed ridden 80yr old with Parkinson’s and can’t physically eat more, he may have a medical condition. I never told him to force feed, I informed him he’s not eating enough. Take whatever you like from that, at least you didn’t jump to a conclusion, though.

Yes, BMR is bro science. You came to a bro site, asked for advice, then said you’re doing what you want regardless. Try 1000 cals, maybe that’s your sweet spot. Is that the advice you seek? This isn’t an echo chamber.

Lol if I want to I can go eat 5k cals per day no problem, that’s not the point I came here for help to see if someone knowledgeable could guide me, is not about forcing and eating more calories when I’m having 3 to 4 meals of more than 40gr of protein each to lose fat

No, you did not, you came here looking for permission to not eat enough. You don’t even know what you wrote. Again, not an echo chamber. Proceed doing what you were going to do.

If he's eating more than his hunger calls for, what would you call that?

You're being very dramatic with the names too. His hunger will set back in and he can go from there... There's no point in force feeding until that happens. If it doesn't come back, yeah maybe something medical but again... Pretty dramatic.

Putting way too much stock in your numbers is foolish. Maintenance calories are not the same day to day... Metabolism isn't the same day to day... Treating them like they are just doesn't make sense. I don't see what's so shocking about this... I'm +240 most of the year and there's plenty of days that I eat 1500 calories.

I didn’t come asking for advice, bro, but thank you. I’m eating 1200 cals today, but, I’m eating 3500 tomorrow, who gives a shit. He asked a question and didn’t get the answer he wanted, so, he may going to do what he wants regardless. I don’t know wtf yoyre talking about with “dramatic” and “names,” but, keep pounding the drum.

You should just go to another topic please I don’t need nor want your help, very dramatic and very negative comments, you’re being very rude.

This is exactly what I was looking for, someone smart with experience with some good intentions to actually help out, thank you sir, I also think that is best to just wait and see to make any changes, I can always go back to maintenance, but I’m seeing nice progress that’s why the doubt as to why I’m feeling this great with great energy levels and eating this low calories

"Eating less than a bed ridden 80yo with Parkinson's" is pretty dramatic for someone that's just not hungry going into a cut, which is common AF.

Not getting the advice he wanted and just not taking your advice isn't the same.

Back to pounding my drum.
