Lets continue with definitions.

Socialism is an economic and political theory advocating public or common ownership and cooperative management of the means of production and allocation of resources.

Social democracy is an economic and political movement seeking to reform capitalism to align it with the ethical ideals of social justice while maintaining the capitalist mode of production, as opposed to creating an alternative socialist economic system.

Fascists seek to organize a nation according to corporatist perspectives, values, and systems, including the political system and the economy

You seem to confuse socialism with social democracy; some concepts in common, sure, but aint the same thing. The essential difference is that capitalism is retained under SD. Hellofa big difference, if you ask me!
What, if anything, do you disagree with in these definitions?

Socialism: Government control
Fascism: Control by government backed corporations.

ObamaCare: socialist health care
RINOCare: government backed insurance cartels: fascist health care

Result: Socialism and Fascism have the same end results: loss of liberty and freedom for the populace.

I think gmerits definition is closer to the truth.Whatever the case though you both seem to agree that everyone is equal in a socialistic society.Which makes it ok to take money away from the wealthy and distribute it amongst government and lower to no income individuals.The socialist are against free markets and capitalism even when faced with the facts that in other countries socialism is failing miserably.If your definition of fascisim is true I definately lean that way.That has been what made America great all these years.Back to the trickle down theory...

I dont think anyone is advocating socialism and doing away with capitalism, except for a few socialists. Social democracy and socialism ISNT the same thing. The DIFFERENCE is who controls the economy. The gvt controls it under S.
So you think Walmart, AT&T, Exxon should run the country. You do realize that the only goal of a corporation is to make as much money as it can in any way that it can without regard for other entities, dont you? That is the defination of a sociopath. So you want sociopaths to run your life?

No, I dont want sociopaths to run my life.BUT...I do want Walmart,AT&T,and Exxon to be sucessfull .The more sucessfull they become the more jobs we have.I will be away rodeoing for awhile,hopefully making obscene profit's.Adios and talk to you guy's soon.d:tiphat
