What are your thoughts on this? Personally, I see it as the absolute worst of all infringements upon my right. The gov't has gone so far as to take ownership of my body/life and thinks it has the power to tell me that I can't kill myself.

I support this act to be honest with you. Also, I support doctor assisted suicide for terminally patients, but only if they are in a coherent state of mind in which they know what they are doing. I also think that if a a doctor is gonna aid a patient to end his/her life of pain, I think the immediate family of the ill individual should be notified. Taht is just my opinion.

yes i think euthanasia should be an option. Grizzly put it succently and coherently. If youve ever seen a relative die of cancer... well i wouldnt want to suffer for months with no hope

Exactly....my grandpa was the backbone of my family and it crushed everyone when he was given 6 months to live.

I literally had to carry him to go to the bathroom, and it killed me to have to do that...and it humiliated him!

If given the choice, I'd rather die than go thru what he did.
