Enclomiphene instead of hcg during trt

Hi guys, what do you think about combining enclomiphene (12,5 mg ED or 25mg EOD) with TRT instead of using hCG? I read on several forums that it’s a very common choice. In your opinion, why is that, and what do you think about it?

It depends on what you are trying to achieve. Like 2lanes mentioned HCG stimulates FSH and LH production and thereby intratesticular volume and fertility. SERMS attach to the Estrogen receptor to stimulate testosterone, but do not stimulate FSH and LH production due to being supressed by endogenous androgens. This can be useful during use if you want to lower estrogens binding to its receptor without preventing aromatisation from T.

What about general well-being and libido? I’ve seen several people who prefer this approach, even though on paper there doesn’t seem to be any real advantage to choosing enclomiphene over hCG. What dosage and timing were you using?

Enclomiphene fucked my eyes up. Its supposedly rarer than with clomid so ymmv

Generally just felt more emotional than usual, not really feeling better. Libido didn't change. I tried 300 mg Test C with 12.5 mg daily enclo. Didn't do shit.

Without test my balls were orange sized from enclo alone. Doesn't work like that with test at all.

Unfortunately HCG is absolute dogshit that makes me emotional like nothing else, not really controllable with AI. Also doesn't really increase ball size at 2x 400 mcg per week for me. So now i'm on test only.

To counteract the mood swings from hCG, I recommend splitting your weekly dose into daily injections—you’ll see it works much better!

I’ve also noticed that without hCG I’m more relaxed… less anxious and emotional, but without hCG TRT feels flat. My libido is very low; only with hCG do I get that boost.

Maybe if I used higher doses than 170 mg of testosterone I would have the same libido, I’m not sure.
