Effects of sodium

Looking for opinions here. In order to keep the stomach from having that bloated look what foods do you guys stay away from? Also, are there any that you add? I've heard that adding potassium and magnesium can help. If sodium is the culprit then what do you guys season your chicken with?

Stomach bloat doesnt really have much do with sodium ... generally , given that your healthy , its more to do with bad digestion. Ive noticed in my self i cant eat the typical "bro foods" like brown rice , sweet potatoes, and even beef if i go overboard. I end up look looking like im pregnant by my third meal of the day. But my stomach handles faster carbs alot better , chicken , and leaner cuts of beef .

Switch up your foods , and pay attention to how your body reacts to them . Other than that break up your meals in smaller more frequent meals throughout the day . Get enough fiber and veggies in but dont over do it or that will just end up backing you up too. Sip your water throughout the day dont just chug water when you get thirsty .

I dunno thats just off the top of my head , but point is if your having issues with bloating there's alot of other things to look at before you concern yourself with sodium.

I've started taking digestive enzymes and eating more fiber and I can definitely see a difference. I'm just trying to fine tune things so that instead of only looking lean in the morning I can sustain some of that throughout the entire day. I was slim when I was younger so I didn't have to worry about it much. Now I'm having to work for it a little, trying to work smart, not hard

Digestive enzymes will definitely help , i take them as well .. I had the same issues until i really started paying attention to how certain food made me look and feel throughout the day. Id be 7-8% bodyfat but by my 3rd meal id have a turtle shell going on , which looks even more ridiculous than just looking fat lol... just start pulling one food at a time and really pay attention to how it effects you , it might take you a little while really narrow it down but it will be worth it. Plus you'll just feel better overall , people really underestimate the importance of keeping your gut healthy.

That's what I'm starting to see. It doesn't take much to see a big difference if you eat a couple meals of the wrong foods

I'm the same way with beef. Bloats me like a mofo.

If only it wasnt so damn delicious :( ... I can only do so much chicken fish and turkey before I break down and have a nice 14oz ribeye lol ... probably doesn't help my digestion that I eat them damn near raw , but if you're gonna do it might as well do it right lol:D
LOL. Yeah I'm medium rare myself. Probably only eating beef once a month at this point. How's the training going bud? Next competition anytime soon??

I've been doing 4 days a week. Strength is still pretty low but workouts have been productive. Have to start cardio. Still sitting around 280.
Your arms are much Fuller. Your whole body looks like you've really filled out nicely. Your going to look like a beast when you diet down. Best of luck bro and keep us updated.
