E2 85 pg/mL but other biomarkers look good. Feel good. Seemingly asymptomatic. Should I try to lower to upper-end of reference range?

Hi All -

My E2 levels are "high" by most standards. Especially considering I'm on a relatively low volume of gear at just 240mg/week of test c. So I am trying to figure out next steps and if I need to intervene.

Searched quite a bit on this topic and have distilled down my understanding to two schools of thought.

1) There is no E2 number that is too high. If you feel good and are asymptomatic with no biomarkers or other markers indicating something is wrong, roll with it. Some people suggest androgen:e2 ratio > E2 in a silo, but this is a polarizing topic.

2) Keep E2 at high-end of upper reference range at most. There is a good chance you think you're asymptomatic but actually aren't.

Any guidance on how best to approach this? The only symptom that I'm experiencing that *may* be attributable to high E2 is excessive water retention. But there are other variables that may be driving this as I just started HGH at the beginning of December at 2iu and titrated up to 3iu at beginning of January.

Thanks in advance.

Is there any data that suggests a particular level of diminishing returns where the protective benefits of E2 plateau and enter into the range for potential negative outcomes?

I say no. The same thing happens to me and I don’t even bother. As long as all my other health bio markers are good and I feel good, I don’t see the point.

For me on a TRT dose, even a high-normal sensitive E2 gave me low interest in sex, itchy bacne, mild anxiety and very weak orgasm. I felt generally okay but when I introduced some basic estrogen control I felt much better.
