Drink sugar free jello for joint and tendon issues!!!

When I first read this thread I thought it was a joke. But on a whim I bought a couple of 24 packs of the stuff on sale at the grocery store, and started downing one every night. I think that was six weeks ago, because I'm almost out.

Have to get some more, because for the first time in years my knees don't ache all day while I'm working, or hurt at all during squats. They still hurt (a lot) after a long bike ride, but nothing is perfect.

Thinking of ordering some unflavored gelatin mix, since it's a lot cheaper than Jello, and I pretty much hate the super sweet taste of the stuff.

virtually tasteless and mixes with any liquid, hot or cold.

It fucking works!! It works better than about any other damn thing I've ever tried. I mix 1 packet of sugar free jello with a bottle of water and drink this about 2-3x a day.

Talk about some rapid fucking healing, my tendon feels better already and I've only been doing this about 2 weeks now. I felt a difference within the first 3 days from it. Jello is supposed to help collagen in the body and since tendons are 80% collagen it's something that is supposed to work well. I guess a lot of strength coaches do this with their athletes also.

Just thought to share for anyone with joint and tendon pain
Can you share a little on your tendon pain?

It's a partial tendon tear in my tricep right above the ocronean process in my elbow (elbow tip, lower tricep region) it's fucked with me for almost 2 years now.

It's slowly getting better now. One thing that has also helped a lot is too g to a chiropractor for ultrasound therapy on the regular

I should also add, this is a wear and tear injury from years of training. This wasn't anything that was abrupt or happened in one day

So the gelatin has helped and regardless of the tear, you still push through the pain and work out?

I eventually took a complete 6 weeks off upper body altogether. I've had 2 PRP injections, the second one is the one that made the biggest difference. I may try another PRP shot soon, but the general consensus from PRP injects is that the pain is dumbed down more and more with each one.

Then I decided that regular ultrasound would help stimulate more blood flow to the area and help it heal. The biggest issue with tendon healing is a lack of blood flow to the area

I’ve heard deep tissue massage is great for it, which would definitely go along the lines of increasing blood flow to the area, but I didn’t find it really helped and just caused more pain. What do you think of those little Tens units that Icy Hot makes and sells in stores?

A tens unit IMO is just inferior to ultrasound. I may consider getting a portable ultrasound for my home. If I could have the liberty of using it whenever I felt like it Im sure this would heal even faster

Forgot about this thread until someone liked one of my posts. I got tired of drinking the sugar-free jello sludge every night and started making these.

I use a s-f jello pack, 2 tablespoons of generic gelatin and 1/3 cup water heated up until smooth. Got some gummy bear molds off Amazon. I eat them as snacks over 3 days per box of jello, about 75 gummies total. I make a week's worth in under 20 minutes.

The chocolate ones are gelatin mixed with cocoa and Stevia - but they need work.
