Does HGH prevent cancer?

Hi guys,
I know that HGH in higher doses leads to cell growth and that it could also cause cancer cells to grow.

Now I have recently heard that it can prevent cancer.

That would be two different things.
Does anyone know anything about this?

HGH doesn't prevent or fix genetic errors and mutation that accelerate cancer cell growth and inhibit normal system controls.

If HGH is to "cause" cancer, it will be the indirect result of elevated growth factors, such as IGF-1, accelerating the growth and division rate of already existing and accumulated cancer cells.

GH and IGF-1 don't cause cancer directly.

If GH and IGF-1 were directly causing cancer, literally any Mr. Olympia bodybuilder would have had cancer.

If your biomarkers are within normal range, HGH won't cause any issues.

To answer your question: No, HGH doesn't prevent cancer.

there you are @dumbgear, thought you crocked with all your "experimental hgh dosing" lol did you find a good source yet?

which biomarkers? Can you name them here?

What biomarkers should we be checking?

While GH or IGF1, and other growth factors, do not directly induce carcinogenesis (they do not cause DNA mutations so in this sense; no GH does not cause cancer), they can significantly influence tumorigenesis.

Anything that promotes cellular proliferation and inhibits senescent cells from undergoing apoptosis, allowing them to continue dividing despite genetic instability, increases the risk of malignancy. This is especially true the older we get, as the burden of mutagenic cells in the body increases. But age ofc isn't the only factor that increases this burden, nobody would die of cancer if this was true.

So saying that GH only increases cancer growth isn't completely accurate, something that might have otherwise have "died off" might continue with dysplastic growth which can later on potentially become malignant ...

*Edit: nobody would die of cancer young.
