DIY TRT (20yo)

Hello everyone! I just wanted to get yall's input on doing DIY TRT.

I am a 20yo guy, 6'0" and 197lbs who has worked out on and off since I was 15. Never done any PEDs including sarms, prohormones, AAS's, hgh, peptides, etc.

I've always figured I was a lower test guy given my strength progression rate, fat distribution, muscle definiton, etc. even with extremely strict CICO + macros and at some stages 5-6 times a week strength training + cardio.

Recently I have had a ton of the typical side effects of low T (libido, energy, weight gain, mental sides) so I got it tested and it was:

Total T: 238 ng/dl
Free T: 33pg/ml

Which was concerning to say the least to both me and the lab, so I had it checked again later that day and it was even lower: 172ng/dl

Levels that low could've indicated a pituitary tumor, so I had my other hormone levels checked and they were:

FSH: 3.1 mIU/mL
LH: 4.8 mlU/mL
Estradiol: 15.0 pg/mL
Prolactin: 9.0 ng/mL

My other hormones are fine, so i don't have a tumor thank god but my test is cooked and all my low T symptoms keep getting worse. I mean I dont even want to have sex anymore at all.

As y'alll know there is 0 doctors who will ever give me TRT due to my age, however I am seriously not doing well especially mentally since it has been taking me away from enjoying the things I love especially the gym, sex, etc.

I was planning on just starting enclomephine alongside test E 200mg/week and monitoring how I do on that, since its long term I do not want to have to use an AI.

What do yall think about that dosage? I was thinking to space it out 2x a week 100mg each time, subcutaneously to limit scar tissue buildup given how long I'm going to be pinning (rest of my life). What is your experience with managing fertility? I have the results from a semen analyiss coming soon but either way I'm not wanting to have sex so I'm basically infertile lmao.

Nope, just diet and exercise + multivitamins (oneaday) + creatine for natural test boosts, and no other drugs.

I would like to just do it natural but there are no actual studies indicating any sort of supplement (including enclomephine) would bring me even within the normal range.
Ok was just curious. I'm in Canada and as long as one is 18+ and has a good medical reason to go on trt it's not hard. Unless they have a good reason to NOT put someone that young on trt. That being said, I went on at age 25 finally. Wish I didnt have to but glad I did, I am now 40 and it made a huge difference. Fertility was the one major problem but it worked itself out in the end. I wont give you the whole "your young" speech but just make sure you have given it thought and looked at as many pros and cons as you possibly can. At the end of the day I know what it's like to have extremely low levels at a young age. Getting a TRT script from a doctor is the best way to go and I'm not sure why that is so difficult. I would try a few more times to find a clinic/doctor willing to help with a TRT script but if that just doesnt work out I wish you all the best man and hope this gets figured out one way or another.

Yeah my main thing is I might be infertile (waiting on test results for that) and that will really affect the way I proceed since I might not have anything to lose in that regard haha.

Also, in the states its extremely hard for young guys <30 to get on TRT from a regular doctor. In fact its the same for vasectomies too. Probably has something to do with people suing them or something later down the line if they regret it.

Ive never been super dead set on having my own kids so its not my primary concern. Also important thing too is that if I am living my life in the disfunctional state that I am in it would not be responsible for me to have kids regardless.

haha good luck! when you cut down to a good 10% bf your confidence will be shattered and when you're bulking you'll feel like god again. this is just the process. will be much appreciated if you update us on your journey going forward
Thank you so much for the support. Really does mean a lot for me right now.

Even if they give me T ill be here for a while. Such a great resource not just for gear and stuff but also figuring out how to manage side effects and seeing other peoples reactions to stuff. I hope to one day be able to come back to you and show you I reached 10% bf.

I had similar initial t results and jumped on to TRT. I started doing it through a private provider, it provides the reassurance your are doing it correctly.

However DIY TRT isn’t rocket science, so I am transitioning to that.

If you want to start on DIY I would recommend you spend lots of time on forums such as this and learning about your blood markers so you can interpret your blood results.

I would start with a specific protocol of:
Test C or E 2x weekly total 150mg

Then you can use this as a base to experiment from, changing esters, dose frequency, total dose etc.

Aim to change one variable at a time.
Initial bloods should be around
Weeks 6/8
Week 16
Week 40
Then every 4/6 months depending on what you see on each test

You might find you reset these timings as you experiment on what works for you.

Yeah that scheduling is about what I was planning for bloodwork. I also hopefully will be doing TRT through a clinic, the issue is that if they do not pull through I'll have to come back here.

Why does prop make better results? I was figuring enanthate because it lasts longer so it would be more stable levels over time. Isn't prop half life like 3-4 days which is still much longer than the regular test cycle? I mean I figure test suspension must be the best in terms of mimicking the spikes + dips of natural test but suspension would basically wear off overnight and would need to be dosed every single day.
The whole stable level thing is completely over blown, there is no hormones in the body that is stable, they all peak and trough depending on time of day, diet, health etc, there's countless people been on Eth or cyp for years and struggle but then they switch to prop and hey presto everything they want from test but never got, probably because they were missing the natural peaks and troughs that natural test has, don't confuse cycling for TRT, maybe if your on a cycle and wanna pack on mass then maybe, but if you wanna fell like a man again and have next level boners that can pound a hole through concrete you'll try prop, you won't regret it...
