Hey guys I'm trying to get some diet help I'm wanting to get more serious as of now I just half ass it and eat what I like. Stats are 26yr old 6'4" 247lbs. As of now I mostly eat a lot of whole eggs, chicken thighs, turkey meatballs and mashed potatoes. Usually cheese with my eggs and an English muffin. Those are things I really enjoy eating. My question is can I make a diet where I can eat most of these foods. I know it's a high in fat diet. Do y'all recommend certain macros or just get ur protein in and stick to certain calories? I'll post a pic of today for reference not looking to get hazed lol any help or advice is appreciated.IMG_20170331_205811-1200x1558.jpg

TDEE, go to figure that out and it will let you set %'s for your diet needs. Then get Fitness pal and track all of your food intake, it's a very popular app and does everything for you.

Got all that tdee is about 3300 so u think as long as I get my protein in and calories about 2800 it'll work well or do carb and fat macros matter

Get fitness pal and track it all, Protein, carbs and fat. you might want to try carb cycling. I am a huge fan of it. There are web sites that will set up your macros for what your trying to accomplish. Bulk, cut, maintain... If your in bulk, I like about 1.5 to 2.0 grams protein per pound of body weight. It all depends on what your goals are, but yes, track it all...

K thanks man I actually paid a trainer for a personal diet to cut and it was a carb cycling diet but was for like precontest and was extremely strict but worked well until I couldn't take it anymore lol I just wanted something more maintainable year round maybe I'll modify that diet some and see how it works

Very easy to do with carb cycling. You shouldn't go hungry!
