Diet Soda's, fake sugars, etc. - healthy or not?

Glycemic aspects are irrelevant? Interesting opinion. Now we know anything you have to say about nutrition is irrelevant.

Plants can be processed and packaged poorly or well, separate issues. Not all produce carry bacteria because the farm workers crapped in the fields and didn't wash their hands.

I guess you stay away from caffeine, protein powders, vitamins, supplements of all kinds.

Hell, you stay away from steroids too, you must be 100% natty, right?

The glycemic index of a food is nearly irrelevant bc most people don't eat a single food by itself. Anytime you add in something with protein, fiber or fats it slows the digestion rate down making the glycemic load of the meal lower regardless of the individual glycemic index of each food. Furthermore, what matters most is calories in vs calories out. No manipulation of the glycemic index of load will be able to change the effects of the total calories. It does become somewhat important when you're nearing single digit digit body fat and/or about to step on stage in a few weeks.

This makes sense. Of course, we study these things in vacuums, not real life scenarios (most of the time).
