How can you not intermingle with politics. The founding fathers used religion as a guideline to keep order in a country. If you think that it is the rule of man that keeps people from acting out, you are deluding yourself. The only thing that has kept america and any society living in order is either a.) religion or b.) force.
The founding fathers did not want religion intermingled with politics to be corrupted and this i can understand, but they never forsaw the banning of religious symbols from everyday life. Just because you are not of a particular faith, does not mean you should demean the faith of other people. Removing a religious symbol from a seal that has been there since the inception of the county was ridiculous. It's history, not religion. America was formed by judeo christians. it's insane.
