What I think is ridiculous is the LA County board removing Christian items from the courthouse that have been there for decades.

I dont want creation or religion being taught in public schools...

I had the most enligthening class at Florida State U when i was a student there..i had a world history teacher on the first day of his class tell us " this is not sunday school..this is not bible study , if you think it is you are in the wrong class". I found the class fascinating but alot of folks didnt..they dropped the class and many of them complained. He was the most complained about and publicly protested professor at the university...

Point is people want their religion all rosey and hopeful. ..in most literal cases..it isnt..See the Galileo affair, the crusades...etc. Religion has done the world a disservice..but i would never advocate the bible being banned..

I am a Christian, I believe in Jesus, and I sin. I do my best not to, but Im human and make mistakes. Since there has only been one person who was perfect, I will put my faith in him to save me. Whether I follow the law or not isnt a qualification of being saved, though it does give great insight into a person's heart and motived.

The Crusades is a good example. Christiantiy is a peaceful, loving religion, but some people twist it and take selected quotes out of context in order to support their perversions.
