Daniele Pozzi dead at just 23

Cycling steroids is most certainly not playing Russian roulette with your health, that's absurd.

If I have a beer after work every day, am I playing Russian roulette with all of the same risks associated with alcoholism?

If I take a painkiller after a surgery, am I playing Russian roulette with all the same risks of an opioid addict?

If a runner dies of a heart attack while running, should no one ever go jogging again?

I don't think so.

Moderation is key. You are making the same exact mistake that the general public and the media will make from this death, as well as any other athletes death... That steroids are to blame. There is no way to know whether AAS even played a role, typically it's the diuretics and or insulin that are the real troublemakers - those are not typical for general AAS user.

I am in perfect health... My health prior to using AAS was much more questionable. If anything, I take an extremely more careful look at my health and well-being now as compared to years past. I'm more engaged in taking care of myself and so are most of the users that deal in moderation in the community. How many people do you know at the gym that get bloodwork on their own on a regular basis? How many check their blood pressure or even monitor their blood sugar? Most of the guys on this board do that regularly.

Ask an ex NFL player with CTE if he thinks bodybuilding is the most destructive sport...

All very good points. Can any of them bring back the laundry list of guys who are dead?
Can it bring back Danielle pozzi?

Nope. No friends.

Sad.
@Safety First -- I knew you were a troll from day one . Dont have the drive or discipline to fit in here so you troll others that have accomplished something meaningful to them .
Seems to be a bunch of you that flooded Meso a month or so ago . Either from BoP or SST or just out of know where . You all can go back now , criticism not wanted or needed...~Ogh :D

OGH= old gear head. I didn't expect you to listen. You're heart already stores plaque and it's enlarged. Damage is done. I'm trying to save the younger ones. Primarily myself.

@Safety First

You need to find a more productive way of dealing with your hypochondriac tendencies and reconciling your own mortality, you are just one of many young men who somehow grows a morbid obsession with competitive bodybuilding despite having 0 stake in the game as a means of exploring issues like death, mortality, and fear.

You need to talk to an adult you trust about your feelings and fears.

To illustrate how your obsession is probably invoking some underlying mental illness, let me flip this around to another hobby. I don't belong to any car forums or follow any auto enthusiasts on Instagram, so when one of their guys dies in a wreck, I am not going to join their forum and warn them like a scared child in need of an adult.

The point I'm trying to make is, the people you are trying to help are capable of thinking far more soundly than you are. Your thoughts are a slave to your own fears that you have yet to work through.

Let me take a guess and say you have zero experience with death thus far in your life, you haven't lost a friend, partner, close family member, parent, and you're in your 20's and somehow the internet lead you to bodybuilding?

You have no clinical or practical experience with any aspect of AAS use or competitive bodybuilding, this is just a bizarre obsession for you.

IOW, you are the guy that doesn't participate that talks shit from the sidelines.

Zero stake in the game.

Always the bridesmaid.

Never the bride.

Maybe one day...

Yes my hearts too big . My wife tells me that all the time...

Why dont you run along Junior and find a Fentanyl Forum where you can pity-help those poor souls . They are the ones dying at an alarming rate ....

The few that die in the BBing world usually have underlying health problems and fringe diet to the extreme . Alot die from dehydration/diet not steroids .

OGH can kick your ass, son...remember that ;)
How does it feel backing up everyone around here, but no one having your back?

I like to think of myself rather as Greta thunburg for the bodybuilding world.
