My first ever shot was test e from the pharmacy back in college living abroad. It was Bayer Primoteston 3 bucks an amp and I always loved test e as it was sooo smooth. Years later every test e gives me pip doesnt matter the brand but then again some people dont get it. Maybe some of us are allergic to those acids?

Have you tested any of the raws for d6 isomerization? It could simply be a personal response to the isomer is user dependent.

I'm not familiar with the actual synthesis of TE but as far as other process industry chems are concerned in a bad process flow minute traces of reagents/acids/bases, etc can cause slow and steady downstream reactions/degradation into isomers. If the feedstock is not fully cleared of all reagent, pH balanced or properly stabilized these reactions just keep on taking place if an extremely hygroscopic product pulls in moisture which reacts with said impurities (reagents still present in product). Even just brewing the raws could introduce enough moisture to react with these reagents to catalyze further chemical reactions.

Again I'm not very smart I'm simply hypothesizing everything I'm saying may be total trash

Amen. Hence structural impurity testing on products as part of quality control. No self respecting vendor would ever put a 15% structural impurity raw on the market. Not much pride in that craftsmanship.

Current question of interest and requires additional work to chase down. See project 3 on the enhanced testing thread and last few pages of Jano's main thread. We (some members here) will crowd fund a standard to send to Jano and nail this down.

Do we have any data on how prevalent this is in current day testosterone raws? Tried to search but I didn’t see any further testing done on this.

A 16% impurity that doesn’t show on standard testing is pretty huge right?

I read that. Didn’t really answer my questions.

My understanding is that jano’s standard test therefore does not distinguish between impurities that elute very close together such as the two proton difference between delta 6 test and normal test. Maybe there are other factors that prevent them from being distinguished.

@janoshik does this Delta 6 variance only exsist for test e raws? Like can this Delta 6 variant be found in any other form of testosterone derivate, such as Testosterone Cypionate?

I assume this is only happening for UGL produced raws and never allowed in a true pharmaceutical setting right?

Well, the long run GCMS says 10%, which is kind of a brute approximation. Given the little difference between the compounds I'd say it might be within 10% margin of error (so about 9-11%).

0.3% is practically nothing. Way less than I detected in this one.

About the PIP... I, in fact, do NOT know if delta 6 causes PIP. It's just a speculation at this point. Maybe somebody here has enough time to scour the journals to see what they say about it, but it's quite possible we'll never know.

its not a impurity. delta6 test e is just slighty more androgenic than anabolic but its still test e.

How much money are we talking about?

I'm estimating under 250 USD for the reference standard based on similar impurities for sale. Unsure how much Jano paid for the latest standard he ordered. Someone would have to get a quote from the vendor I identified above and use Jano's info/paperwork for shipping.
