Hey bros, I don't supppose anybody know the scientific name of this test, or more about it- endo. wants to test my cortisol levels, so i have to do an 8am cortisol serum blood test thingie, and if that comes back as normal, she wants to do this test (best description i've got....probably should have asked her more about it then, but it was very hectic).
They're going to inject me, via IV, with a large dose of insulin to try to simulate a diabetic coma/insulin shock (i'm not diabetic btw), to see how my cortisol levels respond. Does anybody know the name of said test ?(i'd like to research more on it because i've read about insulin shock and it sure doesn't seem like something I want to do :/ )
