Cops issued a warrant for my arrest after 4 months! legal advice please

sounds a bit peculiar...first off, there are no drug dogs that alert to aas or ancillaries....second their probable cause for a search was based only on the smell of marijuana...hard to prove unless there was some evidence of marijuana use such as joints, roaches, pipes, or marijuana itself..what state do you live in and what were the exact charges.......how do you know there was a warrant issued..

dont say a damn word to any LE..if you are charged you need a laywer...public defeder or an attorney of your choice....once you are arrainged if that happens, LE cant touch you as far as questioning you....so many variables bros..
 
charged in the state of missouri with two class C felonies for possession. I had about 6 or 7 ml EQ and about 15-20 MAX ml of Test prop. i have a 10 grand bond to pay. I know my charges because my roommates mom is the one that types up the reports. so she gave me some early notice the day the warrant came out. and they found no weed. or anything else.

ok..a 10 k bond to pay is the amount of the warrant if you are arrested and wanted to pay the entire bail amount other wise its 10 percent with a bondsman...the bail means nothing as far as the charge..if it was me..I would go to court turn myself in and most likely they will release you on your own recognizance...(release you with a cite and a date to appear) if not you will sit in jail unless you post bail until your arraingment which is right now is usaully mon or tue..depending on your superior court.....

My advice is get a good attorney and review your entire arrest process..what you told me can be fought but its hard to say without looking at the affidavit of the search warrant...my gut guess is you dont have all the real info about what happend..you wont untill you get an attorney and then LE is obligated to produce all evidence against you...
 
talked to a lawyer, got to post an assurity bond for 1000 instead of 10 grand. he's cool with the steroid thing but just seems like he wants to settle with maybe a misdemeanor and probation charges. doesnt seem like he wants to fight the case at all. and i never consented to search. the driver consented to let the dog walk around the car. they made us get out after they said he hit on something. and nothing was found, but my roids and they cant smell that shit.

anyways i just dont want probation, cuz it'll be like 2 or 5 years or some shit and i cant juice at all during that time i'll seriously go nuts. trying to get competitive eventually and this aint helping. just wonder if they will piss test or hair test or check my house or what on probation. what do you think?

also im on cycle right now, and yes i know im an idiot. they dont know i am either, cops or lawyers or anything. i just wanted to stay on cycle till my court date which will be sometime in november. can i stay on??
 
they wont test you for that even on probation...unless the judge orders that stipulation, but you will know if that happens....not sure why the lawyer wont fight the case...at the very least fight the reason they searched your car...and there are no aas sniffing dogs...

got caught with 12 bottles of test in April.. customs got my shit on the way from Mexico... they called our local drug task force and raided my home and shop. anyway, 7000.00 bond on a p.r didn't cost shit. Then I applied for the pre trial intervention and got in.. 250.00,, done 40 hours community service.... had some police friends to sign off on those for me.. done 6 drug classes, that was a fucking hoot,, attended one full day of court,, all fucking day, just to watch all the cracklings walk. Now I gotta pay 35.00 and its off my record for good,, like it never happend. Thats my story and im stickin to it.
 
Huh, my roommate is a prosecuting attoney. I hear about the shit that is let walk all the time...

Update this is hell

hey heres the update. so far i've had two court dates. just had my preliminary trial. turns out im the first steroid case in my entire county possibly tri district area. the prosecuting attorney told my lawyer he knows absolutely nothing about what i have been charged with and just wants me off these drugs. i got caught with 2 bottles of roids but anyways totaled out to be 14 GRAMS!!! of steroids which isnt SHIT! I figured missouri would have to have some sort of minimum quantity to classify it as a felony but i guess not. so basically i could have got caught with a whole truckload of this shit and still got what i got. and im charged with two class c felonies. well as of now they are trying to book me with these felonies. said they may possibly let me off with 5 years supervised tested probation and fines but we'll have to see. the prosecutor wants me to get into some type of program that shows that im not on steroids anymore and that i've kicked the habit because he doesnt think i can go off. wants bloodwork done and everything. and on this probation i guess I! have to pay for these bloodwork tests. that will be real cheap.......... he keeps hearing the hype that i may want to hurt myself if i come off and he thinks im still using. im not addicted to the stuff but i really wanted to keep doin it but if i cant no big deal. lemme know what you all think.

and o yah my lawyer is against me being on steroids but he is a good family friend and will defend me. i personally dont think he's worth the charmin extra soft he wipes his but with but whatever. his damn retainer fee was 3000 dollars. didnt know how good of an attorney i could have got with that. also he has never handled a steroid case either and doesnt know anyone that has.
 
3000 dollars for two felonies is not bad if your lawyer is good. I was busted in `01 and had to pay over 15k. I mean, I was facing more serious charges but I would say that is a fair amount. Start doing volunteer work and going to drug awareness classes and bring all that shit to court.............trust me it will help your case.
 
my case is finally done, its still a ****in horrible shitty deal i think though. they dropped the first felony but i had to plea guilty to the second one so now im on supervised probation (SIS) for 5 years!!! i cannot drink alcohol, be anywhere where alcohol is served and my roommates are not even allowed to have it in the house. so now i have to move out of my roommates house, cant do shit, i work in a bar and they said thats ok as long as i dont drink.... go figure. there are so many requirements for this probation i cant leave the area without clearing it with my PO there is no way i wont break one of these rules in five years i mean seriously im 21 and in COLLEGE! i have to take fricken anabuse so that if i do drink alcohol this anabuse makes you sick as hell and puke for hours. and i have 50 hours of community service. but if i pass the 5 years then its completely wiped off my record. i just wonder what other possibilities i could have had. my lawyer said they would have put me in jail if i didnt take the sis offer. so either way life as i knew it seems like its pretty much over, im really depressed and just dont know if i'll last 5 years. this is going to effect all aspects of my life.
 
damn it sounds like they got you hard, at least you didnt catch a stint even though it was only 14 grams, you could have been made an example.
 
Did the prosecutor even have an analysis of the product, If not you got fucked most local LE dont even analize juice.. They have to be certain that the eveidence they have had at least some amount of anabolic steroids in it. If they had that then they had a good case but, if the gear was found in the car, how did they know it was yours. Did u tell or did someone else. NEver admit to shit.

Just found out from one of my police buds that the shit they took from me turned up missing from the evedence room,ha, go figure,,,,
 
Wow that really sucks bro. When your lawyer AND prosecutor are against you using something that they admit niether of them or anyone they associate with knows jack sh*t about..... thats when you know your chapped. I feel for you man, I hope you make it through this allright. At least your young enough that youll still be pretty young when probation is over. I know that its hard when your 21 and in college not to drink and party at least a little, but just hang in there. I think you got an unfair deal,(I think anyone who so much as had to answer to LE about AAS use got an unfair deal.) but it could have been alot worse given the state of ignorance and denial most of the country is about the facts surrounding non medical use of AAS, and especially in your county where it sounds like the people there wouldnt know a cypio-test from a math test. (or an EQ 100 from an IQ of 100.) lol. Mattris wishes you the best of luck.
