got myself a nice beating last friday, was drinking with a heap of blokes from the shutdown we was on. i ended up being the only one there from my company and the other boys (about 25-30) were all with the same company. i was having a good old time laughing and talking work. then one of them starts being a fuckwit, i kinda brushed him off for a bit but he kept getting in my face so it left me no choice but to drop him, i hit him once and he fell and then i hit him twice
on the ground. now everybody had witnessed him being a dick so and no one really said a word to me. but i could sense the tension so i left.. had a 20min walk to my hotel and i literally get to the swipe in gate at my hotel when i heard a van speeding down the road. i turn around it this van was driving straight for me on the footpath, i jumped out the way and tried to swipe thru the gate but i was to slow, by then 4 blokes had jumped out and started giving me a beating.. if an old lady didnt come out of reception to scare them off then im not how long it wouldve went for. she told me it lasted for nearly 2min

im just pissed off that the bloke couldnt just call me out for another fight one on one.. pretty week if u ask me especially when i was the smallest out of all of them
 
Been there done that. Sure you weren’t in Texas? My ex use to get me into the craziest shit. When you go out drinking where I’m from it’s best to bring a crew with you. Sorry bud, hope you heal quick.

im a firm believer in walking into places on my own as my own and then treat everyone how i want to be treated. i think this is whats pissed me off the most. i pretty much said to the fella 'look mate for some reason we are not goin to see eye to eye so lets just not communicate with each other and that i want no trouble' well i think he took that as im scared of him so he tried standing over me and got dropped fair and square. if i seen my mate get dropped for being a fuckwit then i would stay out of it.. anyway they won the war lol

Wish you a speedy recovery. I’ve been there myself years back. I learned a lot that night. .. Alcohol definitely keeps the blood flowing and the lumps growing, the next few days will suck, fracture ribs suck as well, lastly there was no way in hell dude was going to take another one on one beating. Take it easy the next couple of days. I’m sure you’ll see them around.

yeh ive pulled up pretty good really, i flew home sunday and then pour a total of 1340sqm concrete slab monday-tuesday lol fuck i was battling thru the day

the thing that is still pissing me off is i didnt really even give the guy a good bashing all i did was drop him and then tag him on the ground with 2 rights.. i mean i coulda jumped on his head like they did to me but im not like that.. i gave him a smack for talking smack and then went my own way.. the police have it all on cctv and i think they are pressing charges for serious assault and attempt to cause grevious body harm with the van they was driving.. they got shitty with me for not laying charges, even my missus is shitty that im not charging them but like i said to the police i threw the first punch in the whole situation so i do have to take some of the consequences.. next time i will not engage to any one without them throwing first

@kap73 --took a beatdown from 4 guys then went on to pour concrete and finish the job . Thats toughness !! ;) :cool:

as i said to the missus im not going to let a beating stop me from putting food on the table for my family.. she wasnt impressed at all lol

to be honest i dont feel to bad about the whole thing. just more annoyed that blokes cant just stand on their own 2 feet
