They got a metal trowl that has that angle on it for edges I believe@kap73
On the top you kind of angled the corners, I quoted the picture you can see the best what I am referring to.

Yup, you nailed it. Chamfers make for clean strong edges. Any 90deg. Corners will chip, crumble or br weak. Use a chamfer.View attachment 96085

So just out of curiosity, in this situation speaking...it seems like its a lot more work to make steps out of concrete versus wood or composite decking, something like that. Is it just because you're a concrete guy or will it last forever?
Nice man it really looks incredible. It's the labor of love that's for sure. I've seen your post you definitely have an awesome job.yeh your right there is a little bit more work involved with concrete set up, but if you do it right its done forever, little to no maintaince.. plus i love the way it looks.. ive been doin formwork/steelfixinf/concrete since i was 20 and i just love it.

So I am starting a big ass school today. The job is like an hour and forty five minutes from home. I am hoping I can start at 530 the rest of the week. I'll post up some pictures later. Looks like I will be here a month or two.

im pretty pissed off atm i flew to soutg australia to get told its 10 hour shifts mon-fri (no weekend work) cunts never told me that on the phone.. ive joined a local gym. missus told me to treat it as a working holiday lol
