I have been trying to buy crypto for 2 days, it keeps saying...authorizing do not leave page, but will not finish. Like its loading and never loads. Anyone else having this issue?

I was using coinbase in the past but damn those fees are high. I use now Conio (don't know if there's an international version of it) and I'm quite happy.

Clounbase has closed all trading, withdrawing and deposits for anyone. So no idea what people are going to do. Everyones getting screwed. Maybe a big hack? Or a huge scam?

1000’s of peoples account have been frozen, nothing can be moved. Many funds are gone.

So looks like the end is nigh for Coinbase and it sucks any of you got locked out.

I've been using Coinmama and so far so good. Transfer to a blockchain wallet after purchase...done.

Everything seems fine on my end with both the regular Coinbase and Coinbase Pro apps.
Its totally down for me. Google “coinbase problems reddit.”
the past 2 weeks 1000’s of people getting screwed. I was trying to buy stellar lumens for a week. Never went through. Email support just gives you the run around. Its not going end well for coinbase. Thank goodness i dont have anything in there. Other places are up working fine.

coinbase is saying nothing about this at all.

But there is going to be alot if lawsuits happening.

great its working for you. I would get all money out of coinbase into a wallet ASAP!

fortunately i have no money in coinbase. But cannot buy anything either.

People are saying they get a message “cannot move funds or deposit funds”.

This is a common issue with Coinbase/CONbase. Market gets real hot or cold and stuff crashes, hmm...

I use them still but did make accounts on other exchanges. A good reminder for me to buy a hardware wallet and pull my coins off the exchanges.
Smart move to invest in a Ledger key especially if you got a lot of holdings in crypto. Only keep enough crypto on an exchange for any purchases of goodies nothing more.

I use a Ledger hardware wallet for most of my holding. Their database got hacked recently of names, phone numbers, and email addresses. I've been getting phishing texts, but as long as you don't fall for it they can't get to your wallet. It's still disappointing they got hacked though.
This. All that these hackers need are the hardware passphrases and PINs to access the wallet when you plug it into your PC and they might plant malware that looks for the wallet when you plug it in. Be very wary of phishing emails and/or texts purportedly from Ledger, and best not to click the links in the email or respond to the text. I'd move the coin to a new hardware key in any event.

Better yet only plug in the key when you need to access any of your coin on it.

I considered switching to Trezor after the hack. So far just being careful and not falling for the phishing scam. They actually sent me a scam text earlier.

Sounds like a smart move and you should be able to move your coin to a Trezor and I'm sure there's a guide out there on how to move your coin from one hardware wallet to a new one.

I've heard good things about the trezor as well.

Also make sure you do a scan of your computer as well to be safe.

Moving it is pretty straightforward just like moving it anywhere else. I'd get two of whatever hardware wallet you use and make one a backup. Store it at a separate secure location. Like in case your house burns down. Only write your seed phrases down and never store it on your phone or computer. Keep your copies in separate secure locations separate from your wallets. Depending on the amount of crypto you have and your level of paranoia anyway you may not need all this though.
