Clear muscle?

I'm only 18 and I don't want to use steroids at this point however I've been lifting for about 2 and 1/2 years and I've started to plateau in regards to both strength and size gains. I'm eating 500/700 calories over my TDEE, I weight 179 and I'm eating 1.5x my body weight in protein. So because nothing else is working I'm looking to supplements and clear muscle looks like the newest latest greatest has anyone taken it?

At 18 it's more about ^^^^^. Change training program and play with diet! What I would do to have the hormones I had at 18!!!

You plateau bc your training and diet still needs work. Supplements are mainly a marketing gimmick. They won't help with plateaus if your training and diet still need work
What would you recommend for training and diet then? Right now I'm working with 5 sets 10 reps per exercise at 60% of my max. For example my legs and back day would be
5X10 squat 195
5x10 deadlift 205
5x10 clean 105
5x10 Bent over row 155
5x10 Lat pull down
5x10Leg extensions
3x15 Leg curls ( I am recovering from a partially torn hamstring)

Consider going to 80% with 6 reps or pyramid 12,10,8,6 and even 4 while increasing weight. Do this a few weeks and then back to higher reps and back to low again. So on. This will help hit both fast twitch and slow twitch muscle fibers.

I'm just starting high reps before this I was doing 4 sets of 6 reps

Choose a quality whey isolate protein power, and add BCAA twice per day, and perhaps find a quality multi vitamin. Other than that the rest is marketing, as Doc already suggested.

What have you determined to be your TDEE? Just curious..

Up protein to 2x bw and double your calories. Dial it back slowly if fat appears, which it won't if you are training hard and 18 years old.

I averaged out a couple and it they were all in the 3300 range 3400 so cause I'm trying to put on worthy I went with 3400

Youre 179lbs with approximately 13%bf, based on your profile photo. You could be a bit less as it's difficult to asses a small avatar. However, based on those numbers and an average activity level your TDEE should be around 2300 cals. If youre eating 1000cals over maintenance and not gaining weight something else is wrong.

List exactly what you actually ate yesterday and include the macros for each item.

What specifically are your goals?

Edit* I would also like to commend you on being mature for your age and deciding to hold off on steroids. A very wise move IMO.

That was an older pic I need to post a new one but I'm at an above average activity level working out 6 days a week for at least an hour and a half and I'm an active person in general

I'm just trying to put on some muscle and break through my plateau. This thread has kinda turned into diet and exercise like most forums do lol but I in the process of being certified as a trainer and my diet is pretty good I'm trying a new fits your macros diet I've heard good things about it and it seems to be working but I'm just not getting the kind of gains I want. So my goal I guess would be just to gain size right now that's what my workouts are catered to.

Most of the things they teach you when you go to be certified as a personal trainer are wrong. There's a lot of things wrong with Exercise science and how it's taught in the classroom.

Anyway, I have some recommendations for you and I'll try and post them later tonight.

Oh ya especially the program I'm going brought a lot is wrong lol thanks man I really appreciate the help!

Whatever you do don't start juicing for a while. I started way too early. Younger than you are now. It's one thing I would change if I could.

Eat a shit load more. If you try the Muscle Clear, let us know how it works. Maybe try old school beef liver tabs (http://www.amazon.com/Solgar-Desiccated-Liver-Tablets-Count/dp/B000Z8X76G).

Try different training techniques. Change it up. But eat good clean wholesome food and plenty of it. When I was your age, I was eating 2 pound london broils for dinner (with sides too! Baked potatos, Brn Rice, whatever). Chow down!

Keep us posted. Maybe use this thread as your log.
