Carpal tunnel

I've been running 5 ius of GH for maybe 2.5 months. At night I wake up and my hand or hands are numb but also incredibly painful. At times it's all the way to my elbow. The past couple days have actually been a little better but I'm not really sleeping more than 2 hours at a time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Lower your dosage. If that helps you can slowly titrate back up later. Another option is if you are taking all 5 at night try taking it in the morning or splitting your dosage AM/PM.

just get ct surgery,, case closed,,

I guess I was asking for a reply like that. I've never had any symptoms pre GH. I suppose I should really ask a doctor for medical advice and not ask on a forum.
hats an EXCELLENT idea, ask a dr, ct is a real bummer to deal with and you can try all kinds of "remedies", but most do not help, but ct surgery just eliminates all doubts ,, and its a fairly easy procedure,,

If this only appeared after a couple of months on GH it's not real carpal tunnel. It's water retention and/or soft tissue swelling.

Magnesium glycerinate or threonate can help redistribute the water that's causing nerve pressure.

In severe cases with rHGH patients docs will prescribe diuretics.

Surgery is not necessary or even useful since the cause is different from real carpal.

I got signs of carpal tunnel on GH also. When I stopped using it my symptoms went away. Now 4 months into Tesa I’m getting the symptoms again which I thought was less likely. I’m thinking about pushing through and see if the symptoms go away. But lowering your dose might help yours improve.

Maybe a stupid question but.... Will limiting my salt intake help with the water retention as well. I'm in a deficit and I'm down about 15 lbs probably around 15% and I am fucking craving salt like crazy. Usually sweets are my craving but I'm close to two gallons of water daily and I think even with electrolyte packets maybe my body just wants salt.

Yes.

Straight from Pfizer's rHGH:

“Fluid retention with peripheral edema may occur during treatment with Genotropin. In some cases, this may be related to sodium retention. Patients experiencing edema are often advised to reduce sodium intake and monitor for signs of increased blood pressure.”
— Genotropin Prescribing Information,

The guidance for non-diuretic ways of addressing this:

-lower salt intake
-increase postassium rich foods
-drink lots of water (counterintuitively reduces sodium and lowers water retention)

One other thing worth trying in combination with the above.

There's some evidence GH sides correlate with the size of the "spike" in GH level after injecting. Using a larger volume of water for the same dose slows absorption, reduces the spike, and has been shown in a study to reduce sides in adult rHGH patients.

IE if you're using .2ml, doubling the dilution so it's .4ml might help.

I’ve had this issue most times. Now I’m running lobster hgh at 3iu before bed along with tb4 and bpc157 and ghk cu( part of the glow peptide blend I take daily). Im also on tirzaptide low dose.

I haven’t had any CTs or even much water retention this time around:

Is it because lobsters hgh is cleaner? Is it because the tb4 and bpc157 are countering the nerve sides? No idea.

I started having some hand and finger numbness about 2 days ago, and i decided to stop hgh, today it feel way better, but i still feel discomfort and weakness on the wrist.

For those that had that, how long does it take to fully clear?
And did you fully stopped hgh or just reduced the dose?

sometimes a reduction in dose can help, but it also depends on alot of other factors, some (like me) just get ct surgery and no more numb hands,, Unless they f up on the surgery which they did on my right hand, i have trigger finger of the middle digit that i didn't have before, and it sucks,,

I have some pretty significant numbness but I've been just powering through. Someone commented on this thread previously with a decent explanation and potential remedies. If you didn't already have CT it's probably just swelling from said GH and surgery would not be a good option. I believe you can take magnesium and some other things to counteract symptoms. Watch sodium intake etc to help prevent extra water retention.

When I first started using GH, I didn't realize there were certain dietary triggers that caused water retention. For me it was salt & carb-rich meals, so no more fast food pizza etc (probably for the better anyway).

Drinking a lot more water and increasing cardio also helped.

You had ct previously on 3iu? I’m also running lobster and i’m starting to feel wrist numbness/pain but I’m up to 5iu

im running 5 ius of lobs hgh and its nothing but pure bliss, no side effects no pain, just a higher igf1 than ive ever had and a bunch of "new veins",, ;) i think ALOT of people aren't as "dialed in with there diet/hydration/cardio" wise and that is the ones with these "side effects",

This is true I got a new job and I haven't been able to hydrate as well I'll dial in with that and hope things improve. How long did it take you to titrate up to 5iu? Maybe I went too quick

oh ive been on hgh for 2.5 years and just bumped up to 5 ius this year so ive went nice and slowww , hgh is a long game and most people fail to realize this, Also hydration/diet/cardio in that order of importance imo, ime, is also a dominating factor, slow and steady will reap the benefits of hgh,,
