Carbing up before working out

I always consume a protein shake (with moderate carbs, 30-40) before and after a workout. Yesterday I drank a carbo force 1 hr. before working out. It has about 110 grms of carbs. Im on many anabolics/androgens now but my arms were so damn pumped that I could NOT lift anymore halfway through my workout. I havent even started my slin cycle. Can those additional 60-70 grams of carbs pre-workout acutally make that big of a difference, when it comes to body pumps. Ive been lifting for years but never really considered this that big of a factor.

Carbs can increase blood flow, but the real important question is - Did it improve your workout (pump not counting)? Some people find a lot of carbs make them drowsy...any problems with that?

actually no, no probs there. There could be a few factors. This is the 4th week with my deca dbol stack, so it could have very well been the deca JUST starting to kick in now. I was just so pumped that I could not workout anymore. I wonder if this is a good thing or bad (as far as gains)
