carb back loading

Over the summer, i had great successs cutting on cyclo keto with massive cheat days and occasional have only a cheat night (starting like 5pm) donuts, pizza etc......so now im bulking and i have to say because my body is used to burning fat for fuel, this carb backloading is working great. Im doing ony sugar ceraels after a workout......luckycaharms, fruit loops with non fat milk....i eat till im full..........up 5 pounds with abs in 2 weeks............i just really question the whole calories in calories out thing.......because i know my body and if i ate the amount and kind of food ive been eating throughout the day instaed of using food timing.....i would be a fatass already instaed of looking lean and full......

I would also like to say i have been doing 30 min light cardio after my workouts to make sure all thise carbs get absorbed.

Food timing has no direct effect on body composition whereas calories in calories out has the most effect on body comp. your 5lbs in 2wks is just replenishing glycogen and some water weight mainly so it's no surprise you didn't lose your abs. I eat 5Guys, pop tarts, ice cream, brownies, and whatever else I want also. Sometimes daily not just for a cheat day and the timing makes jack shit difference like I said before.
