Outside of lowering your dose and trying everything you already have/people have already suggested, i got nothing.Uh.... If I'm not mistaken I believe I hopped on back in July or August or something
Yeah, I just checked and I've been on since June 2nd
At first my sleep was lessened and I woke earlier, but I'd already been used to waking earlier due to the sucky glucagon factor of Reta. The stuff seriously skewered my sleep
It's more of a staying asleep issue, on like a cruise or TRT dose my sleep's fine to an extent now. I dealt with the same initial sleep shock, I assumed my body was just getting used to the androgens and the feeling of being "on" but that's been fixed
Not for everybody, alot of people don't take growth hormone before bed because it fragments their sleep,Outside of lowering your dose and trying everything you already have/people have already suggested, i got nothing.
However this could be a nuts suggestion but you could try a hrt dose of gh before bed. GH before bed makes you sleep like a baby.
haha exactly why i labeled it a "nuts suggestion".Not for everybody, alot of people don't take growth hormone before bed because it fragments their sleep,
GH made me sleep so wonky, strangest situation everOutside of lowering your dose and trying everything you already have/people have already suggested, i got nothing.

I stop liquid after 3pm, and go through like 7 packets of Liquid IV daily. Salting and seasoning my foods like a madman too (pictured)regarding with your problems with getting up to pee.
Are you in taking enough sodium/electrolytes to be able to stay hydrated?
Due to your age dont think prostate could be a issue but have you gotten your PSA done in your bloodwork?

Oh and no, I haven’t gotten PSA. I can ask for thatregarding with your problems with getting up to pee.

Your sleep supplements r solid but I don’t know why your not using melatonin, I sleep 10 hours a day of intense deep sleep and I take all the sleep supplements u take at a high dosage plus 40-80 mg melatonin and a few others not worth mentioning. But adding tren when u already can’t sleep is absolutely idiotic, since your using weight loss drugs I’m assuming you’re lean and that might be the problem I sleep monumentally better at a normal bodyfat(my PFP as an example) then I do when I’m leanerhey all,
been dealing with not being able to stay asleep, and more recently, falling asleep, albeit i don’t see it as much of an issue. i get 4-5 hours of poor sleep and feel mid throughout the day.
stats:
6ft, 185lbs (around 12% BF)
my stack:
300 test (started with 200, slept fine on it) still sleep fine since upping
2mg tesamorelin pre bed
3mg tirz weekly
adding soon
70mg tren ace weekly
adding tren has me worried for how my sleep quality may end up.
i haven’t been able to consistently stay asleep and always wake up around 2-4 am, with my bedtime being 9pm. i believe i might be having a cortisol spike in the morning but I’m unsure what could be causing it. i eat a TBSP of honey pre bed to steer away from any possible hypoglycemic wakings. i also wake several times throughout the night to pee, even with being conservative of fluid intake after 3pm.
additionally, i haven’t been able to get good deep sleep (according to my apple watch)
i’ve taken:
400-1.2g magnesium glys pre bed (not much effect)
400mg l-theanine
5-htp
2-3g GABA
1200mg ashwaghanda (lowered my cortisol under the ref. range!)
i have trazodone and gabapentin on hand but i don’t want to start relying on them to sleep. i want to see if there’s any other drugs, tips or supplements that could help this sleep issue.
other stats:
training 6x a week
no anxiety, i feel kickass
eating in a slight surplus~ maintenance
5-10k steps daily
always wake and sleep at same time
Could you also elaborate on what you meant by Lunesta “flipped your sleep switch back on?” Sorry if I sound cluelessIve tried Ambien (zolpidem) and Lunesta (eszoplicone). Ambien was okay but didnt end up resolving for me. Lunesta flipped my sleep switch back on though. The Z drugs dont cause much morning grogginess or "hangover" effect. Some of the other things ive tried do though (melatonin, trazadone, xanax, clonazopam, seroquil, antihistamines, gabapentin). That groginess is the reason my dr just cut my trazadone dosage in half.
My suggestion is start at the lowest dose and only increase if needed.
Why are the other medication's not worth mentioning?Your sleep supplements r solid but I don’t know why your not using melatonin, I sleep 10 hours a day of intense deep sleep and I take all the sleep supplements u take at a high dosage plus 40-80 mg melatonin and a few others not worth mentioning. Well try not to med hop too much, stick to one for a given amount of time before adding anything else in that way you can rule out that that medication was not acceptable, but if you add in this and add in that you really have no way of knowing which one is effective. Sorry if I state the obviousCould you also elaborate on what you meant by Lunesta “flipped your sleep switch back on?” Sorry if I sound clueless
I have Mirtazapine and Lunesta on hand and I’m trying to figure out which is best for me to stay asleep, even if I have to use it nightly
No worries, it’s good advice nonetheless and not “obvious” lolWell try not to med hop too much, stick to one for a given amount of time before adding anything else in that way you can rule out that that medication was not acceptable, but if you add in this and add in that you really have no way of knowing which one is effective. Because I just have a like 10 tubs of powder of every sleeping supplement and I’ve honestly forgot where they all r I just know how much to takeWhy are the other medication's not worth mentioning?
What do u mean by fragmented sleepNot for everybody, alot of people don't take growth hormone before bed because it fragments their sleep,
I don't know if you're joking or being serious, so I will entertain the question, "frequent awakinings during normal sleep cycle, they can be brief or longer periods of wakefulness that are accompanied by difficulty falling back asleep."What do u mean by fragmented sleep
That makes sense I don’t know what I was thinkingI don't know if you're joking or being serious, so I will entertain the question, "frequent awakinings during normal sleep cycle, they can be brief or longer periods of wakefulness that are accompanied by difficulty falling back asleep."
Sometimes I'll read something and when I read it again I come up with a completely different take on it. Happens. That makes sense I don’t know what I was thinking
